This seems to be a very common side effect with paxil. I am 60mg. a day, and have a very low sex drive. This has caused major problems in my marriage. I am hoping to wean off paxil and find something different. If I do I will post it

Yes, I have the same problem. I am weaning off of Paxil now. I am only taking 10 mg a day. Hopefully it will help.

WHEN I FIRST STARTED PAXIL, I TOO HAD PROMBLEMS WITH ORGAZIMS. AFTER A FEW MONTHS IT WENT AWAY. IF YOU FEEL YOU REALLY NEED PAXIL, STAY ON IT AND KEEP TRYING.

This is a minor side effect compared to the many serious, longterm effects. Anorgsmia will go away when you quit paxil.

I`m going to ask my Doctor to wean me down We have to do it slowly. to at least 20 mg.I am on so many Meds. Advair Discus (steroids) inhaler
Spiriva (inhaler) Paxil and 20 mg of Valium a day, also Albuterol Inhaler ,and if that doesn`t help I have a nebulizer with liquid Albuterol to use in it. Singulair at bed time, and Axid for my tummy.
When I was on just VaLIUM FOR ANXIETY and albuterol , axid, Iwas able to achieve orgasm (no problem) Oh yes I sometimes have to take Prednisone when my breathing is bad. I have COPD.
The whole world is a mess , and I dare to worry about myself , I`m sorry!

I was on paxil and had no sexual desire at all, which was causing problems in my marriage. I weaned off of paxil and started on a herbal antidepressent while I was weaning off the paxil. It hs been one week since I have been completely off paxil and so far things have been going well. The herbal that I am taking is found online at happyhappypill.com.
