Alnix Long Term Use

hi!i have a 2 month old baby right now,he suffered allergies from his previous milk,he has rashes all over his face and i can hear his chest sound like he is having difficulty to breathe.his pedia gave him alnix,5 drops 2x a day.i asked the dr.is it safe to use alnix for a very long time and she answeredeven for a lifetime my baby can use alnix.is it true?
