Alcohol After Taking Sulfamethoxazole Tmp

I have been taking sulfamethoxazole 2 times per day for 10 days. Today is the 10th day (my last dose). Can I drink alcohol tomorrow after 24 hours has passed?

Hello, Michelle! How are you?

That should be fine, as long as your doctor approves. However, you should be aware that it could still worsen some of the side effects, so you may feel more drowsy, dizzy and nauseous than usual, as listed by the FDA. One drink may affect you as if you'd had 2 and etc.
