Advice Needed On Trigestrel

Hi there, please can you advise me.
I have been on trigestrel for 5 years now. I have stooped the pill in October last year in an effort to get pregnant. Before going onto the pill I have had iregular periods and it seems that my body has gone back to that. I had my last period ( on the pill)- 27th Sept, after i stopped the pill, my period came on 27th November and then just recently on 10 Januray. My doc suggests that I go back onto the pill to help me ovaulte and get my periods regularly. He says that I should go back onto the pill, get my period for two months and then after about 8 days on the third month, just stop immediately. He says this will increase my chances of falling pregnant, as it will help me to ovualate.

Please can you advise if this is indeed correct. If so, please tell exactly on which colour of the pill I should stop in the third month. I normally get my period on the 2nd or third red tablet.

If anoyone has tried anything similar to this- PLEASE HELP AND LET ME KNOW IF IT HAS WORKED, WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS!!!
