Hey sober Steve it's not gonna work buddy I'm out already and will have to face the music when I call the Doctor
Tomorrow who is surprisingly very liberal if I get sick like several weeks ago and had to take a round of tussinex just said stop your subs take it as directed and go back on when your better but as of right now I'm in the early phase of as I call it the Percocet flu aching choughing and sneezing like I have been huffing a bagger on a snapper mower it's not the same thing I don't give a crap who says what the drug I'm getting now is not anything remotely close to subs say what you want the zubsolv is slow to act if it even does and leaves you needing another dose way too early and the onset of the flu is about 12 hrs from your last dose where I could go 2 days with subs before I cratered say what you want people if this works for you in my book you should be able to quit completely just my thoughts people no need to shout

Anyone saying this medication is not the same, is making them feel "ill," or doesn't dissolve is full of CRAP.

I have been on Suboxone for 7 years, one a day (8mg) (half in the morn and half before dinner).

Saturday, I switched to the equivalent dose of Zubsolv and feel FINE!!! THE EXACT SAME AS BEFORE!!!! All you people had me freaked out too, thinking I was going to be sick after starting Zubsolv. Not at. all. the. case.

All you nay-sayers need to get your addict brain back to normal because this medication is doing the same thing as your Suboxone...it IS IN YOUR HEAD.

Lastly, it dissolves, literally in less than one minute, especially since I only take a half but there is now WAY this pill is under your tongue for 30 minutes!! LOL that is laughable. I carry around a pill cutter and cut it in half in the morning and store the other half with prescription box, in the pill cutter.

If your mouth is seriously so dry that there is no saliva being produced, AT ALL, then you need to see a dentist or doctor. Because someone with no moisture at all in their mouth (so no one) is the only way it is possible for this medication to not dissolve.

You're full of s*** or you need a dentist to look at your mouth. But what I really think, is the taste in just there, not the actual substance, and in your mind you think because you can taste it, it's still there. After, literally, 90 seconds, i can put my tongue on the bottom of my mouth where the pill goes (under your tongue) and there NOTHING there.

7yrs, huh...and we need to "get our addict brain back to normal"? That's just a tad offensive, as some react different to meds than others! I didn't mind the zubsolv, but it still wasn't the same as suboxone! My problem was that insurance wouldn't cover my whole script, but on everyone's behalf I find your personal comment not only judgemental and offensive, but straight up ignorant! As someone who has been on colonazipam, there's one generic out of however many that I have an allergic reaction to. Nobody knows what is in the stuff we take. Every version has a different composition of chemicals and everyone can react differently. Glad it works for you though. Best regards, but don't start knocking what people say, especially addicts, thinking you're a better addict than everyone else...? Really? Peace!

YES! REALLY! I don't care if it sounds judgmental, because it is. Addicts are addicts. Ask me if I give F*** if you think it's offensive, I don't. I'm only sorry I half listened to what these i****s are saying.

I agree I've been on suboxone for 6 months without a problem and I switched to zub-s*** cause insurance wouldn't pay for the subs anymore. Everyone says the dose is the same and I'm saying bulls***. I've already ran out and I still have a week till my appointment. I have extra everytime with subs..

Well, glad zubsolv works fine...for you! There's at least 7 other people on this site that disagree, so sounds like you are the expert, and everyone else is crazy! If you don't like the opinions of other people, fine. But don't sit here and bash everyone else who has had issues with it, after all, this is what this discussion is all about! Who the hell are you to judge anyone of us here?! That's really tryin to make an effort to work on sobriety, a junkie tryin to make themselves feel better about themselves by bashing other addicts. Sure, I don't agree with all the comments on here, but I'm not telling people to get their addict brains straight or whatever B.S you said. There's people who are fighting real life struggles here, and really don't need one person to throw a bomb into a group that is attempting to help each other! I think maybe you should go back and humble yourself just a little bit! Who are you to judge!?

This is my point I thought I made it maybe not wasn't bragging just giving imformation to let people form an opinion but looks like you took it differently My point it doesn't work as effective for me it might for you that's fine and has some side effects on me maybe not you that I do not care for nor my wife and a lot of people work hard for a living but it sounds as if that struck a nerve with you I added that as part of the imformation I have so people might could he me get some answers any other person would have read and maybe told me that no working in the sun all day and replacing fluids in my body very fast and staying at the point of dehydration 7 days a week should and or should not effect the way it works since the reup take is different think I will not post here anymore more negitive crap is the last thing I need Thanks

What's up with all the bashing here people?! We're supposed to be helping each other out here! Sounds like you crawled outa zubsolv works fine(s) a**! You made no logical point that's relevant to this discussion! Do you have any idea what it's like to live in pain day in and day out, let alone work a strenuous job along with it and maintain a family, stay sober, etc.? Zubsolv doesn't work for some people, plain and simple. No need to pick people's thoughts and comments apart and post wtf they are thinking is wrong! That's irrelevant to the topic, this is too but I'm sure not appreciating reading this mess and I'll stand up for the people who have been posting reasonable comments, someone else may get something out of it and he may have someone relate to his comment! I apologise to the people that are trying to get something out of this, but the negativity has to stop, regardless if you agree or not!

I've been on suboxone for over 10 years. I switched to zubsolv last month. It doesn't work the same as suboxone for me. I get mild withdraw symptoms while on the zubsolv. I ran out over a week early and when switched back to suboxone that very day I started feeling better. My doctor said I'm not the only one that this is a problem for. New I'm trying to get my insurance to cover suboxone again.

I've been on suboxone 2x per day (8mg/2mg) under tongue tabs for 2 years. I was about a year ago weened down to 1 per day in the morning. It was working really well. Then my insurance forced me into one per day orexo branded zubsolve 5.7mg/ 1.4 which is supposedly equal to the effects of what I was taking. Well I can only speak out of my own experience and I can say that I feel that it isn't working near as effectively. I feel very little relief and it seems to wear off quickly. I used to get relief and not have any withdrawal. Now I don't feel that way. I used to feel much better within a few minutes and now I never feel anything nor any type of relief. I will be talking to my doctor and to my instance company about how it isn't working as well for me and that I don't think it is in the best interest to force me to switch me from a medication that has been working great to one that isn't helping much. I personally do not feel that zubsolve is working as well and I definitely don't agree that it is as effective as the other. I feel it dissolves too quickly and I also do not agree that a lower dose of the buprenorphine and naloxone is effective nor equivalent to what I was taking. How do I know this...?... because I feel worse and I am not getting equal relief. This is if course my personal experience. I would much rather have a slower dissolving, gross, and nasty orange taste (with a medication that works) than a faster dissolving, better tasting, less gross medication (that does not work as well). I don't like having my relief, well being, and better quality life messed with because I have to have my coverage and medications change due to higher ranking pharmaceutical politicians being greedy. It's not so cool when it's your health and your well being on the line.

I agree with both of you guys, and especially for the well being of our lives! I really don't think, well I am almost certain that these people have no idea what it's like to struggle, finally have a decent quality of life, then have a wrench thrown in it! I had my Dr office submit the 2nd tier appeal for the zubsolv , but haven't heard anything for nearly a month now! He just wrote me subutex last time I went, it's a little more money, but sure worth the payoff! Now my dilemma is I've been cut off from comp pay as I've reached my maximum medical improvement, have no money coming in, and I have been freaking out as to what I'm going to do! It's bad enough dealing with my own problems, but I've got two little ones to worry about also and this is killing me, literally!! I apologise for venting, but workers comp is not a fair system by any means! I have no idea how to go about getting any other type of ins, as I've always worked! If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! Thanks. I hope things work out for you guys, and the payoffs to the ins companies stop messing with people who are really trying to do the right thing and live a good life! God bless all!

Zubsolv sucks. Do not switch from suboxone. Major differences. Makes me angry big time

The problem is the insurance companies are forcing the switch to zubsolv, and when you pay top dollar for ins., we shouldn't have to pay hundreds of dollars a month for medication! It's ridiculous, but hopefully they'll realize that this is not in our heads, and it's not what it's claimed to be! Until they do, I'll drop my ins., and pay for generic sebutex! It's just not right for the people who are trying to do right in their lives!

Yes! My dr was very hesitate on it but my ins stopped covering the suboxone. This was the product my ins covered. I had headaches and felt terrible. I was on 6mg of suboxone which they say is the same as 5.7mg of zubsolv. They say you can take less of it cause it goes to your bloodstream quicker. It was so bad I now pay out of pocket for the suboxone which I dropped down to 4mgs. My dr was not happy about switching me to zubsolv because she said she had never heard of it and knew nothing about it. May be different for others but my experience was terrible almost felt like I was trying to go thru w/d and was always sleepy with a major headache.

I have the same experience with zubsolv. I filed an appeal and my insurance will now cover the suboxone again. Appeal has to be done by your doctor.

You're one of the lucky ones! I've yet to hear anything from my 2nd tier appeal yet, then again, I'm dealing with the same ins for a workers comp case that's been drug out for almost two years now, made my life a living hell, taken nearly all I had but thank God I'm still sober, and that's all that matters to me! I gave up on zubsolv, I can barely afford to go to the Dr., let alone pay cash for 30/mo...and that's on borrowed money! I dingy know if anyone can relate that's had a comp case resulting in a serious injury, but it's almost as if they try to take advantage of your situation and bury you...literally! I'm lucky to be seeing a psychiatrist, good psychologist and great addiction Dr...without them, I honestly don't know if I would've made it this far, bad past or not! I'm now paying cash for generic subutex, which works much better than zubsolv, though I hate the huge pill and long dissolve time! Maybe they're starting to see this drug isn't all it's marketed to be! I just don't have the time or patience tio take on another fight, plus I've been released from my employer by both psych drs., I was billed for ins., but how do they expect me to pay it when my pays been taken away, can't get my mileage reimbursement that was submitted by my lawyer well over a month ago...sorry guys, but I'm livid with liberty mutual, I wish they had to suffer half of what we've been through! God bless you all!
