Xare;to Side Effects

I have been on this medication for over a year and I am getting sores all over my face, arms, legs, private areas and chest. They are red and looks like they have blood in them. They itch, so they are slow to heal. I also get headaches, tingling in ears and weight gain. Am I losing my mind or is it this medicine and what can be done about it.

Yes, you are correct, those can be side effects of Xarelto, though the sores are not common. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness and joint pain.

You should inform your doctor, as you may need to switch to a different medication.

I have had test afther test and seen five doctors but no one is blaming the blood thinner Xeralta. I was on warifin before but had to run to clinic every week to be tested that's why my doctor changed my meds.
