Will Tramadol Show Up As Hydrocodone

I am out of my prescription for hydrocodone, but I also have tramadol. Would it show as the same drug on a drug screen?

Paul, I'm wanting to know the same but I was taking Tramadol (does nothing) so I took a Hydrocodone. Did you ever find out your answer?

I have a prescription for norco & came up positive for both norco & tramadol @ my pain management test. I've never taken norco & the Dr didn't day anything about the tramadol being in my system. Does this mean that there is tramadol in my norco ? They most certainly don't work for my pain like they used to for the last year or so.

I do have a prescription & do take norco & came up positive for both norco & tramadol.
I think the generic norco probably has tramadol in it or something that's as weak. Besides the fact that I came up positive for tramadol, the newer norco generics are terrible. They don't work for my pain like they used to & also are causing me to have bad side effects . Doing this to medication is horrible. Ever since they changed the norco & the rest of them, I've been in such pain, nauseous & other stomach problems. I've had 2 major spine surgeries & when I returned home from the hospital I didn't think I was going to make it because the medications were not strong enough. I was scared to have my last surgery because of this problem. I was right too, I was in such bad pain & suffered for over 3 weeks, still have pain now. I need to have another major surgery & don't think I can go through with it because of the meds being weak. My friend has terminal cancer & told me last night that he's suffering because his meds are not strong enough too!
I'm an older woman that hopes the meds change so I can have my next surgery & not be scared of dibilitating pain & suffering.

They r both the same, and will confuse a test. They will even show up as another drug something called hydromophine
