Will Hydrocodone Help With Suboxone Withdrawl

I've been taking only 1mg or less of suboxone for a little over 2 months. I've been off of it for 5 days now but I felt so crappy I had to take a few hydrocodone 10mg each day to get through work. Will this only prolong the suboxone wothdrawls or is it ok to take a few just until the major withdrawls from the subs last? Please help! I don't want to make this process any worse than it has to be

You should really get professional help with this issue, that would be the best thing to do.

If you continue taking several Hydrocodone tablets each day, you're may just end up trading one addiction for another, which could create an even worse mess for yourself.

What types of symptoms were you experiencing?

I was taking only 2 or 3 hydrocodone 10 a day for several months. I took 3 suboxin 8 mlg over 5 day period. If I stop cold turkey will I still have withdrawals

Yes, you will most likely still have some withdrawal symptoms, but they'll likely be mild and transient.

The best thing to do would be to follow your doctor's advice for tapering off.

Hi, good for you trying to taper. Yes, you are prolonging your detox and totally messing up the Endorphan receptor sites where Subutex has a very long half life, 72, hours. Just take the Subs every other day n don't go too low too fast. Slow, easy n loving towards self. The physical part is the hardest. Why deny the Subs, it's like beating yourself up. Stay tuned to spirit N body, it knows.
