Soma contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol, it is a muscle relaxant and, as such, it is not a substance that is tested for on urine drug tests.
As to the Hydrocodone, no, there is a very good chance that the test they do will show exactly what you took and they will know it wasn't Oxycodone, due to the different metabolites in your urine.
There are some basic tests that only show that someone took a narcotic opiate, but they are very rarely used.

THIS ANSWER IS VERY WRONG,, i am on oxycidone and have been on probation drug testing for a year. Oxycodone does NOT show up in a drug test as an opiate as it is synthetic,both my doctor and my probation officer told me this,now as for the hydrocodone(vicodin), i was switched to it for about 6 weeks and every test i took on the vics i showed positive for opiates as they are not synthetic.THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERANCE please trust me and dont listen to the internet b.s ers on here. Go and by an at home drug kit and check yourself. The oxycodone(percocet) will not show as an opiate,only when specifically tested for it. Hydrocodone(vicodin) will absolutly show as opiate

yes because for one Soma is a class 2 narcotic now and for two it is a tranquilizer. I shows up under Barbituates.

Yes Soma does show up on a drug test if you are under a pain clinic for testing or under your doctor! It showed up on mine and it's not just as a Barbituate because I am prescribed a medication that is classified as barbituate and the Soma came up in it's own classification. I hope that makes sense ha! Basically Soma does not show up as a barbituate and it will show up on a drug test! Also no lortab (hydrocodone) and percocet (oxycodone) or anything oxy will not show up the same on a drug test! They are made up of different pain medications!

So buritions, is different from benzos, my suboxon dr. Tested me once to get me on the subs then the 2 vistit no cups for pee which I seen that happen when I went for my first visit, I suffer from tmg and the subs mess with it at times. I don't know if I should come clean with dr. Are try to hold off on taking soma. I wish I knew what his cup is testing for.

I have a prescription for hydros(I take heavily) but not somas(take seldom)...if I am urine and hair tested at work will the somas show up or be drowned out by the hydros?

They test differently. One is oxycodone and the other an opiate. I don't think soma show up as barbiturates. Don't take it to be safe.

Look, I've had a 6 level fusion surgery in my back. I hurt it in 01' and have taken just about every opiate for it. I was on morphine as of 08 and have been cut from 420mg per day to 160mg and I also take soma to make up for the difference and take monthly drug screens. Soma doesn't show up, because I had a bottle stolen and my test was the same. Vicodin, Percocet, Morphine all show an opiate. I also take Xanax and it shows up as a benzo. All pain medication from Opana to Tylenol 3 are synthetic, I don't care what a p/o said; that said you can do things that will show up as a false positive. The er said that I had an amphetamine in my urine and my dr whom I've seen a decade said that it was a false positive from the lidocaine cream / "icy hot" so you can never be 100% sure something that you have done may cause a false positive. After over a decade of pissing in a cup every month it happened once so it's unlikely but my brother who takes benadryl failed one at our job for cocaine / "ampht." - so I suggest you own up to what you do and if you didn't do it demand for another test and offer to pay if you're wrong. That is what he did and passed the next one. Honestly I used to smoke marijuana and at a friend's, just hit a joint going around once, before I even thought about it, so I was straight up with the dr and still see them. It's so hard to get these drugs I can't understand why anyone is selling them. Long story short, all narcotic pain pills show up as opiates. The only addition is Tylenol. Own up to your deeds or don't do them and yes I am an addict myself but I prove thru counts and monthly tests I'm doing what I say. My word is good and need is just or I wouldn't be taking anything much less get prescriptions from the same Dr I've been seeing since 06. By the way, soma lowers your iq prob. 50 points and some people are dumb enough. Research anything I said, I've came by the info over the past 16yrs. and looked myself.
