Yes, it doesn't match anything in the U.S. databases, but there have been other questions asked about it from Norway and other countries, but so far no identification has been made.

The pill is a foreign generic of Lorazepam. I have the same ones.

Yes, definitely generic Ativan 2mg - White round pill with L2 on one side, no markings but scored on the other side - manufactured in India by Ranbaxy as brand name Larprose (extremely lower in cost if buying direct from India) and is NORMALLY equally as effective as Ativan but not always. Ranbaxy manufacturing practices have been under fire every now and then for years by U.S. government pharmaceutical authorities (occasional import bans) for allowing sub-standard conditions to persist in certain production facilities. They never produce fakes but sometimes (though not recently within the last year or so), due to the sometimes sub standard production practices, their pills are less potent than American, or even European, equivalents and that situation applied to a handful of pills that did, unfortunately, include Lorazepam. In my opinion (and this is not legal or medical advice/opinion/recommendation - heed it at your own risk/discretion), the severe nature of the price difference more than justifies buying Larprose or other generics directly from India manufactured by Ranbaxy, their pills are usually excellent and when they are not, other than being less effective, they are not imminently dangerous.
