What Drug Is Ecstacy Classified As

I had a urine test and the doctor refused my meds and terminated me said i tested positive for ecstasy and i dont even know what it looks like never been around it and the only new meds i started is wellbutrin.advair disk for asthma and spiriva for asthma...so was wondering what it is classified as...or if either of them can be a false positive

The actual name is far too long to type, mainly because I feel too lazy at the moment, but the shortened form would be MDMA.

That link will give you a lot more information on it. Ecstasy is just a nickname for it, you may also see it referred to as XTC, X or E....and I think there are some others as well that I don't remember.


And it is related to Amphetamines, so it might have been a false positive caused by the Wellbutrin, it contains the active ingredient Bupropion and it has been known to cause false positives for various Amphetamines.
