I have an infected tooth, a friend gave me these pills for the infection will they work?

Hi Jenn,

To answer your question, yes, Doxycycline will cover dental infections (although penicillin or amoxicillin are generally the more preferred options for this type of infection). Just make sure you follow a consistent dosing regime over however many days it takes, so you can be sure that the infection is gone.
