This whole situation is sad - I'd love for one of my Dr's to live in my shoes for just one day. My family GP suggested that I take up yoga, and that would ease my joints to get me off the meds. (I'm on MS Contin 100mg 3x daily, Endocet 6 pills daily as needed). I was injured back in '91, and since 1995, I've had 6 cervical spine surgeries & 3 lumbar surgeries. My daily pain is a 7 to 8, and that is on the meds !
My Pain Doc has been treating me for 9 yrs now, and won't change nor increase my regiment, even though he's the one telling me, "Wow, you're neck & back have gotten worse, you've got almost no disc left in either cervical or lumbar". "By the way Joe, make these 90 pills last for the month this visit, you should feel better taking less meds". Maybe it's time to move to CO & smoke myself pain-free !!
Living with this pain really sucks, try to understand that, Doc !!

you just said you couldn't tell the difference, but you like watson better? lol. it can't be both. either you like one better than the other, or you cannot tell the difference between the two.

i just got watson 932 a week ago, from walgreens. & this pharmacy didn't have them last month, so it's not left over stock in that particular pharmacy. there are still some in existence, clearly.

I too was told by my regular pharmacy chain ( actually the owner was there ) & they said that Watsons will no longer be available & offered either Amneal or Endocet brands, being very sensitive to fillers in near all medications, I'm very picky when it comes to my pain medication. I have two rods in my back & a damaged hip that needs replacement surgery, I should be on much stronger medications but I must be able to function & thus I get by ( some days worse than others ) on just generic percoset. My pharmacist said it's likely due to Watson having been bought out by Actavis which has just now become a fortune 500 company. He said they have had a ton of complaints every since the company name was bought & they long ago stopped carrying the new WHITE colored Norco by Actavis though they are stamped & numbered the same, just likely have not had the time to do proper research & just pushed them out to meet the demand, WHO KNOWS, other than Actavis. I would say that things are only going to get worse before they get better. I would think of compounding, but they are not federally controlled, only state controlled. My doctor just told me of the sterility issue out east in South Carolina w/ a local complicates cortisone shots, being a sterile issue, over 25 people died! If anyone decides to try a compounding pharmacy make sure they are at least state certified as mixed results have been known to show on required drug checks by pain management Doctors. I have discussed this all w/ both my pharmacy & my doctors as well & they ALL recommended that I use Endocet brand. I think that it's looked at as a drug problem issue when one is as knowledged as I am & many others about their pain medications, but I'm like this w/ all I put into my body & theirs nothing wrong w/ that. I put my medications into a monthly counter and take as prescribed. I was also warned that if you go to these mom & pop pharmacies & they ask for your personal info & a photo copy of your drivers license to RUN AND REPORT THEM TO THE FDA. I think it's these so called "local" mom/pop pharmacies that are taking short cuts & thus making it even that much harder on us pain patients that truly need pain medication to live a normal & somewhat pain free life, with me it's never truly PAIN FREE, but more so not as painFULL day to day life. I can work, play w/ my niece & nephew & be involved in my community, and my pharmacy & doctor know this of me, & I'm blessed to have them both & I would never do anything to damage that trust & relationship. To all you who are out to make yourself feel high, why not go do some H ( god knows the govt. Has made sure plenty of it is on our streets). I would do anything to not have to live w/ this pain I do day to day & I pray constantly & I'm not saying everyone should do what I do, but it does help to have faith in something. Sorry to get off topic, but I'll end it w/ saying this, I'm taking the endocet & I have near the same relief as w/ the Watsons, w/ out the morning headaches. I'm going to see if I can find a " STERILE CERTIFIED PHARMACY " in my area that may be able to work w/ me on compounding but I also will send one off to the FDa to be studied & make sure I'm not being taken for a joker, if I have to take a diagnosis & my levels are off, I will sue the pharmacy for every dime they have, so any complicates reading this just know this, your all into our lives, just remember if you make the choice to make the meds yourself, I & many others will be watching you now. Goodluck to everyone & honestly if endocet is available to you, than stick w/ them. Best of wishes to you all & HAPPY NEW YEAR...

Endocet is the same as Percocet, the name brand of this drug. Watson has many side effects for some people, like me. If you were originally purchasing Percocet and now find you cannot afford it, then take Endocet. It is the same pill as Percocet and is made by the same manufacturer. Generics only have to have the "active" ingredient, while their fillers can be anything and everything. If you get better relief from Watson's, or any generic for Percocet except Endocet, then it's all in your head. Sorry. Just my opinion and they're like noses--everyone has one.

Walgreen's is no longer carrying the Watson 10/325 Oxycodone. Got mined filled 12/23/13 and they gave me M523 - each pill one is in individual packaging which makes it extremely difficult for someone with arthritis and carpel tunnel to open.

I called Walgreen's and they said that their distributor Amerisouce chooses which brands they receive. I stopped going to Medicap because they stopped carrying Watson. Now I have to find another pharmacy.

A friend of mine works at the Hy-Vee pharmacy and she just told me that they will be discontinuing the 10/325's. I can't believe this would be all brands. My doctor lowered my script from 500's to 325's because too much acetaminophen isn't good for your liver.

@William - Psychological? Really? The M523's definitely aren't as powerful and their affects wear off faster. I take mine at the same time every day and my pain WAS under control until they switched brands. I'm having trouble sleeping because either I can't get to sleep because I'm in pain or I wake up in the middle of the night hurting.

With Watson 3/day was fine, but I would occasionally take the 4/day I'm prescribed. This month I'm taking all 4/day and taking Tylenol and Advil for the "breakthrough" pain. Funny, I didn't have breakthrough pain when taking Watson's brand.

Guess I'll be going pharmacy shopping....

I had to LOL @ the "endometriosis 712". Hahahaha.

But yes, you're right. Watson is much better.

Endocet is cheap, where I live. My Watson script costs my insurance $266... whereas the Endocet cost my insurance $74! & whatever they use to make Endocet sucks....... because I had a horrible allergic reaction to it. Thank God my doctor's office had me come in the following morning & they had me bring in the Endocet to destroy it, & they wrote me a new script for my meds with a notice RIGHT ON the script, "Allergies: Endocet".

People who keep saying Endocet is brand name Percocet, YOU ARE INCORRECT. Right ON the bottles, it says, "Endocet, GENERIC FOR PERCOCET". Endocet is a GENERIC version of Percocet. Brand name percocet would cost me upwards of $1,000.00 a month. Endocet is $74! BIG difference.

I have to say it after a looooong Investigation And A Lot Of Time And Self Sacrifice Watson 932 are much better than Endometriosis E712. Every time I take one Watson I would almost fall AND SLEEP nodding off but after finishing my Watsons and starting these extra overpriced Endocets I don’t get that or much of anything but I do get pain relieve being honest. Different affects same achievements. I started off choosing Watson 932 and I'm ending up sticking to them. The Truth

Today 1/04/14 new news. My regular and only Rx I know of for a thousand miles that carries Endocet. Today my pharmacist told me that Endocet has gone up almost double what it was. I have no insurance so I've always paid cash around $65 for 93 pills. Now My price is $149 for 100 pills. And the worse part......she said people with medicaid and insurance probably will get denied to purchase something that high. And eventually I asked her where is this heading, will it eventually be discontinued. She replied I don't know but I told her can you try to keep a bottle ordered for patients like me that are willing to pay an extremely high price and getting 100 pills, the full bottle right out of stotage. She said she would try. I almost cried but I asked her please try. Endocet believers; things are about to get tougher than leather! And I don't even know where around here to get Watson 923, which is my personal 2nd choice except Walgreens. And they notoriously are the high drug store on the Market!

Watson is better than Endocet, any day of the week.

my pharmacy had watson back in stock today. so happy!!!!

I was afraid I'd have nothing, since I'm allergic to endocet. (medically documented allergy) it says right on my hard script, that I'm allergic to it so I should never have to worry about accidentally ending up with that cheap garbage again.

Endocet 10/325 are not discontinued my Rx has confirmed. There are just drug stores who say "We only get what we can". My Rx has always carried E712. My mom just didn't take the time to care after I gave her the empty bottle, I just hope they continue to carry them and I won't involve her or anyone who thinks that they're all the same again...."let me have those round yellow 230 pills with the strange C on the back": so sad what I went thru two different months (hope that no one never has to relive what I went to~I so wanted to move to a medical marijuana State). MY Watson Rx has trouble with the 932's, even Walgreens now a days. So if Watson is your brand ask and check your sack before leaving! Some people it doesn't matter they just don't have as much sensitivity to pain as others do

Joe G now you are speaking my language. I've posted my med schedule b4. It's a lot to deal with. But the 2 things that I am € no HAVE to be on top of are my pain meds and my headache capsules. It sux when cluster headaches are worse than widespread body pain. There are people in wheelchairs. All sorts of devices to increase mobility. But not all are in pain. But if you've ever been shot or any obvious attention makers guaranteed 120 pills. That doesn't bother me. People that say you can get your local Rx to order what you like for $30 extra or so please be thankful Endocet is no bullshhhh be thankful; they are hard to find...very I've even heard Saturday from Louisiana that they're discontinued 12/28/13. The Watsons are notoriously higher products I do not know why. And yes they have been bought out by Actavis Due To Probably People On Streets Getting Labeled As Addicts because Asking For Green Or Blue ones. Government on their a** possible case suits, so they sale the company and put out weaker products. I know Watson hydrocodone are dancing with the notorious Alvogen 230 yellow Devils. The Watson 932 Percocets I got from Louisiana are pretty descent, I'm not complaining matter of fact I'm cutting them in half. Every store same story "We only get what they give us" BU......

Money is involved! I say find a good Watson 932 10/325 or go with the 5/325 Qualitest Round pills V 4839 they are better than any other 5 mg. Just get 200 of them. Endocets, Watsons, Qualitest (Which Is The Parent Company Of Endo pharmaceutical), Then Mallinkrot. The rest is all commercialized BULL..... Only people with Serious Chronic Pain check their bag for that Alvogen or Amneal IP204 pill before Paying For anything even Walgreens. I ask pharmacists to show me what the have b4 even handing over my script. No matter how much pain I'm in I always hobble in to handle my own Percocets and Florinal#3 Watson not Lannett. I like the Qualitest Klonopin better than the Sandoz Clonazepam but I'm not gonna loose a kidney over that because Sandoz is pretty large but their 12.5 Ambien from Walmart garbage please break the 12.5 in half...Wow! Now we're playing with a full deck. I use the Winthrop US they are blue round with ZCR just like the real ones. But pharmacist neither doctors take this medicine so I keep hearing "If it didn't have the regulations in it we wouldn't be able to sale it. I made a Walmart pharmacist bedazzled when I showed her my Capsule Floricet called Geone. After they all laughed at me when my Dr wrote on the script Floricet capsule they said there's no such thing. I get plenty laughs from big pharmacist ThinkING They Know It All

God Bless, Michael ! I'd like one of my Dr's to walk in my shoes for one hour - I'd say a day, but they wouldn't know how to handle the pain ! My wife is a saint, putting up with my pain the past 23 years, she seems to be the only one who understands what I go thru daily.
Why do these pain Docs seem to know what's best for us, but don't know anything - same goes for pharmacists, they all think we are deadbeat drug heads looking for a fix ! I'm almost ready to give up, having to live on these meds is no pleasure !!

Could not be in more agreement with U, p\but those kind of putzzes are the least of our issues. Not to offend, but I sometime forget that their are so many people worse off than me:( So we keep on keeping on. I got switched just of recent to an oblong pill with the stamp of A333 it Oxy 10/325. My tummy hasn't been the same, as to the Psyche play on it : Us chronic Painers have just a tad of experience in all the mind games we encounter from within, as well as all the external we try to minimize. Best to U my Friend, may our new year be less painful, allowing us any pieces of Peace we can grab. I've know idea how my wife handles me? Such a blessing within my turmoil.

Yes there is a very big difference. I've been in pain management for 18yrs. Watson has a faster hit reaction time than endoc. watson also gives the feeling that endo does not. Every pill made has its own unique difference.

Try roxicet 30mg if you can find a Dr and or Pharm that will prescribe and fill. Significantly more effective for acute chronic pain. Be aware, this is a strong Rx. And there's no where to go from here. Personally I've had good luck with Perc for short acting breakthrough followed by Opana or Meth for long acting. And Soma to help with muscle spasm. Diag: 4&5 lumbar stenosis with severe bulge in 4th. Still suffer from lower left hip and extremity pain. Hope this helps
