Hello, I've never done this before. I guess this is what is called a chatroom. I was looking around to get some information for a prescription I just started taking today. I THINK ITS SHORT NAME IS "NARCO." I got them from one of my siblings. There information brochures wasn't attached.

The pill says WATSON 853. I have a herniated disc. Both of my siblings have had two back surgeries. I would like to mention this pill to my brother, but he seems to be addicted to medication he is already taking for back pain. Both my sister and brother, who are nice people, seem to have a change of personality because of the drugs they are taking for their back pain. Do you know whether Norco causes mood changes and is it addictive?

My sister is having thoughts about suicide for about 2 years. Next month she is having a little card or box attached to her lower back area. She will try it out for a week, and if it is helping with the pain, it will be inserted inside her. It can be removed if necessary. Thanks for your thoughts. Nancy

Neeka, how long did your doctor advise you to stop the Naltrexone, before using a narcotic pain medication?

If you've been on it for a long period of time, it's effects may take awhile to wear off, before narcotics will have an effect on you, again.

Lynn, the tablet with the Watson 853 marking contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Vicodin, or Norco.

The Hydrocodone is a narcotic, so yes, it can be addictive and it can cause some depression and mood swings, as well.
