Want To Quit Methadone

I've been taking 5 days now 30 milligrams of pink liquid methadone I'm using it to help me get off pills I had a moderate pill addiction 7 or 8 green Percocet 15 everyday at most for about 9 or 10 months I haven't had no pills in 7 days but five of them is because of methadone how long will it take me to go through withdrawals will I have withdrawals what's the easiest way to get off of it how long will the withdrawals last I'm scared of becoming addicted to methadone and don't want to take it anymore any help would be appreciated

Ughh I really feel for ya!! Methadone was the worst!!! I literally wanted to kill myself!! It's hard. And It lasted a while!! It was the worst. It gets in your bones. Now I'm on suboxone. My sister in law swears by Kratom. I'm on suboxone. I kinda ran out early. I go backs to the Dr Monday. So I'm thinking about getting some Kratom to help. So maybe try that. Or go to a suboxone dr. I'm in Tyler tx. I found a good dr down here. Decently priced too!! Where you located??

I'm so sorry u had to go through withdrawal from methadone but when your meds from Fentanyl Patch and Percocet for breakfast through pain now that makes you feel like dying..I am in so much pain.

I second Sabrina's post regarding kratom. I've also researched this plant very heavily before trying it myself periodically for stiff muscle/neck pain. There was a time when I didn't think anything other than persistent life long devotion to exercise/yoga could help the occasional pinched nerve pain I felt in my neck, but kratom took it away within 20min and I forgot I even had neck pain that entire day. I only wanted to mention this because after my experience I feel that all the reviews regarding kratom's analgesic effects and helping alleviate a state of withdrawal are more than likely true to their fullest extent. It really does work. And after trying it I can see why law makers are wanting to ban it in certain states/countries, in cahoots with big pharma and their synthetic opiates.

Medical cannabis and other adjunctive therapies might also prove to be helpful. I'd just be extra careful though when it comes to mixing kratom with any pharmaceuticals and probably wouldn't encourage its consumption unless methadone has been stopped for at least a couple days. It may be ok, but I don't like taking chances with possible interactions.
