dear sir I am taking this medicine last 1.5 years daily in the morning before food.I am facing severe gastric and acidity for last 2 years.But still I have not benifited from this medicine.Doctor had prescribed this medcine about 1.5 years back but still i am taking this medicine regularly.please suggest me whether the use of this medicine is better for me ornot and is it possible to take this medicine further?

Rekool-D contains the active ingredients Rabeprazole and Domperidone, it is used to treat conditions such as yours, however, if it hasn't helped you after this long, I'd suggest contacting your doctor.

There are other medications that you can try, because not every drug on the market is effective for everyone that uses it. So, this might not be the right one for you.

Normally, these types of medications are taken for a period of just 3 to 4 months, not several years.

For acidity and gastric issue read about "apple cider vinegar" for acidity. You can try regular vinegar as well. Give it a go

I am suffering from throat irritation ( most probably from reflux) and Irritable Bowels from the last 7.5 years. I have lost around 25 kilos too. But the weight is stable from the last 1 year.

I cannot digest any fruits and vegetables, hot beverages etc.

Any one to help?

I hv the same problem. Use Rekool D 20 before meals twice a day, Normaxin & Vibact twice a day after meals, use Isabgol after meals preferably with cold milk. This is the prescription given to me by my Doc. Find a good Gastro who is specialist in IBS. th take th u should there are such Docs in big hospitals like Lilavati, Hinduja...Take the above tabs for 2-3 months...avoid Spicy , oily & sticky foods...eats foods or foodgrains which are high in fibre...Whole wheat Rice & brown rice or brown bread, fruits with fibre....should feel the difference in 2-3 months...
