The tyvaso medicine makes me feel very bad. Please help me because I have to get into bed after every treatment. ## That could be the sign of a dangerous reaction to the Tyvaso. Have you talked to your doctor about it? It may not be the right medication for you to use and you may need to try something else. Learn more Tyvaso details here. Can you be more specific about the symptoms you're experiencing? ## From what I could gather, Tyvaso (Treprostinil inhalation) is used to treat the symptoms of pulmonary arterial hypertension. I just started Tyvaso. I'm on my fourth day at 3 puffs 4X. My SOB has gotten worse and my o2 stats have dropped 10 points at rest. I now need o2 most of the day where I only used it while sleeping. Anyone just starting out and feel the same? ## Hello, Johnny! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problems you're having. You should consult your doctor, the medication instructions do say that you should do so, if anything worsens, after you start using it. Its typical side effects are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dry throat, dizziness, blood thinning, headache, throat pain, and edema. Are you on any other medications?

Its an expensive medicine and the doctors seem to be very interested in pushing it. The only thing good about it will be for the med corporations. ## Doctors will generally try to push new medications, to see if they work better than the old ones, since new ones are being discovered all the time and there have been many cases where something was new but found to be safer and more effective. Thus, it's just natural for a doctor to do that, to try to help their patients, as much as possible. Tyvaso is used to treat PAH, so yes, it can seriously lower someone's blood pressure, that's what it's really intended to do. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and vomiting. Are you taking it? How's it working for you?

Makes me feel bad at times. Cannot get a deep breath, have bad headaches about an hour after my treatments, I have to do 9 puffs 4 times per day. The headaches can last for hours. I take many types of medication before and after but have discovered that one Alka Seltzer tab in 2 oz of water takes it away. I don't like this med. I do have more energy though. I have stopped taking it, can't deal with the side effects. I had an echo cardio 2 weeks ago and tomorrow go to my pulmonary doctor for all the results. I am sure he won't be happy because I stopped. I have discussed it all with him before to no avail. Anyone the same? Talk to me. Only serious no jokes please. ## Hello, Kathleen! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problems that you were experiencing with this medi...
