Tripride 1mg Tablet Benefits And Side Effects

I want to know the benefit and side effects of using the Tripride 1mg tablet. I am 56 years old and have diabetes.

I was prescribed Tripride 1 along with insulin by my physician to control my diabetes; and with that it was well under control. Now that Tripride 1 was not available due to the ban on this drug, my physician asked me to continue with only insulin for some time and to check my sugar levels. I did that but my sugar levels have gone up to 230 FBS. I would like to know what the side effects of Tripride are on a short term and long term basis?

Both of you need to consult your respective doctors to find an appropriate alternative medication, since this one has been removed from the market.

Boll, you may not be using enough insulin to make up for stopping the Tripride, because that could cause a rebound effect that raised your blood sugar levels even higher. Your dosage may need to be adjusted.

I'm not sure what other medications are available to you there, but your doctor should be able to help you find something, Prasad.
