Actually your doctor was right, it is not addicting, but you can become dependent on it.

Addiction happens when someone keeps taking more and more of something, because they like the way it makes them feel, such as the euphoria that some experience from narcotics.

However, dependence happens from anything you take regularly for a long period of time. Your body gets used to having it and you will experience some minor withdrawal and rebound symptoms if you lower the dosage or try to stop taking it.

And as to when to lower again, there is really no set time frame for that, you really have to gauge by how your body is handling it.

What type of side effects have you been experiencing?

thank you for responding and the information. other side effects are i cant sleep, tired irritable anxious agressive, out of body feelings sometimes make me feel im going crazy. even suicidal thoughts, but am not sure if the suicidal thoughts is a result of the unbearable situation of my life right now, however its still a terrible feeling hoping that it could remain night time and that dayligt and its difficulties will not appear.
