I was given this drug in Mexico after a serious accident. What is the difference in this drug and ordinary Tramadol? My physician in the states has prescribed regular Tramadol for pain of arthritis and fibromyalgia. ## The medication from Mexico contained both Ketorolac and Tramadol. Ketorolac is a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Tramadol is a relatively mild opiate narcotic that is just used to treat pain. Putting an NSAID, with the Narcotic tends to enhance the analgesic effects. As similar medication that is available in the U.S. would be Ultracet, which is also available as a generic, it couples the Tramadol with Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My back is killing me can I I take diabetic pills and I take high b...

This drug has made me nauseate and black out unconsciously after three hours of taking the drug to treat my headache. Unfortunately also it did not rid of my headache. Im going back to Advil. ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? Do you mean you actually passed out, or that it just made you drowsy and you had to lay down to sleep? If it actually made you pass out, then you need to seek medical attention to have the issue checked out. Was it prescribed to treat your headaches? This isn't one that's normally used for them. ## Tramadol for headache?? That's something new I am getting to hear because as per my knowledge tramadol is very effective for all types of acute and chronic physical pains but that doesn't include headache. Have your doctor prescribed it for headache??

Does anyone know what a red round pill marked with 225 does? ## Tramadol ## If it works? Depends what you need it to work for. It’s a milder prescription pain med commonly known as tramadol - not to be confused with ultram as people who aren’t knowledgeable think they’re one in the same. They’re not. Tramadol is what you have and all patients respond differently to meds. One may get relief while another forgets they took it which is a sure sign it’s not strong enough. Depending where you’re from and who you ask tramadol is in the opiate family... again. Flipped flopped there in USA, but it’ll help mild pain if you’re not opiate tolerant - if you’re taking anything in the opioid family, say Vicodin or Oxycodone, tramadol won’t h...

After years of being treated with a progressively chronic debilitating cough I was prescribed Tramadol 50mg morning and night. Within hours the couph had gone totally. I have tried numerous times to come off the Tramadol under doctors supervision by 1x50mg a week if I get to reducing 2 per week chroic cough resumes at its worse. Do you have any suggestions I would like to come off Tramadol but the return of the cough is not something I want either. Thankyou ## That can be a normal side effect of stopping the medication, or tapering off of it. The FDA also warns that you may experience dizziness, rebound pain, headache, fever, and chills. However, such symptoms should only last about a...

Is it ok to take 1 Tramadol every 2 hours? No more than 8 per day? ## Hello, Steven! How are you? No, you should not exceed the dosage recommended by your doctor, when it was prescribed. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## As per my knowledge and whatever i have read about tramadol dosage differ according to age, gender and pains. For Tramadol 50mg prescribed dosage is every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain.

I thought it was a non-narcotic pill but it gives me the same feeling as would Lortab or Codiene. ## tramadol would not show up in a hair drug test. Also it would not show up in a urine rapid screening test. Most rapid screening test are calibrated for morphine. Morphine is excreted unmetabolized, and is also the major metabolic product of codeine and heroin. ## I took tramadol three days ago and have to take a urine drug test that gets sent to a lab will I test positive ## what panel will tramadol show up on have test at 100 2 today ## For the most part not many labs test for tramadol unless it is specifically asked for so it most likely won't show up on a hair drug test or urine drug test ## Can u put a little oxycodone into a synthetic urine bottle and get away with it if it gets...

I was prescribed both when I went to my local hospital. I had broken my ankle in 3 places in August and came for a check-up. That seems to be fine although I must continue with a dressing. Th weirdest thing is I have a severe pain from my groin in the right leg (the good leg) right down to my knee. They have taken x-rays and then the medicines (Tramadol is the other one) and I have to go to physiotherapy on 14 February. I am completely knocked out during the day and fall asleep all the time.

shape and color of tramadol 37.5/325 ## ovol shaped light blue r 753 ## To the original poster, if two doses are listed, it would actually be a generic for Ultracet, which contains Acetaminophen, and Tramadol. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Can you please post back with the markings on it? Since it is available as a generic, it isn't possible for me to post descriptions of all of them for you. But if you can share the markings, I will gladly check for you to confirm what the tablet contains. Hello all. I usually take Vicodin when I have bad back pain, but wanted to try something that wouldn't knock me out. I asked my Dr about Tramadol and he said he'd only prescribe one or the other. Long story short I filled my script and got green and orange capsules in a blister pack from Zenlabs. The pack says the drug is Zendol-50, containing 50 mg of Tramadol. It was produced for Zenlabs Canada in India. Now, these are very different than the little white pills I'm used to seeing. I took 3 last night (never taken that much before) and didn't feel much of anything. Can anyone help tell me if I'm taking some unknown drug or the real thing? Like most Indian meds, there is no imprint on the pill itself. ## Sorry, without an imprint it is impossible to postiviely identi...

small, round, white pill marked E311 ## I FOUND 2 PILLS MARKED E311; WHAT ARE THEY? ## i found a small white pill marked E311 i was wondering what it is. ## E311 is generic Tramadol 50mg, generic for Ultram. This is a non-narcotic pain reliever used for mild to moderate pain. Although it is non-narcotic it has been proven to be very addictive. Side effects include loss of appetite, euphoria, nausea, insomnia, among others. ## This medication has since been reclassified as an opioid due to its addicted tendencies. The FDA lists its other side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. i HAVE 4 BAD DISCS IN MY LOWER BACK ACCORDING TO THE MRI. I AM CURRENTLY TAKING 1- 50 MG TABLET OF TRAMADOL AT BEDTIME AND 1/2 IN THE MORNING. i TAKE THE OTHER 1/2 AROUND 3 IN THE AFTERNOON. CAN I GET ADDICTED TO THIS AMOUNT? ## Hello, Kay! How are you? They can be habit forming, but I think you're confusing dependence with addiction. It's dependence that occurs, when you take something regularly for a long period of time, because your body gets used to it. If you took them for a long time, then suddenly stopped, you'd experience some minor withdrawal effects. Addiction, however, occurs when someone abuses something, because they like the way it makes them feel. But since the way they feel is just due to the side effects, which wear off after awhile, they have to keep taking...

Ive been battling the monster methadone for about 3 years now and I'm sick of it. I tapered down to 20mg a day and ran out. After trying elimodrol and withdrawal ease supplements and feeling OK for the first 2 days, I thought cool I will be OK. Hell no, day three my body told me that stuff ain't doing anything. I had a bottle of tramadol so I took about 250 mg and after 30 min I noticed I was sitting still and not wanting to jump out of my skin. WOW. So now I've been doing the same for 4 days and still alright. Is it too good to be true? Am I just trading one for the other or can it really help? I am sole provider of my wife and two young kids, so missing alot of work to go detox is out of the question. And cold turkey I can't handle right now. Anyone been here before?, ...

I was prescribed Tramadol by my primary physician for years. I was in a motor vehicle accident and was rear-ended by a heavy duty truck (cement mixer). It caused severe back pain and sciatica. My pain is constant. I was able to live my life while on tramadol. Then the opioid scare hit and my physician told me she could no longer prescribe them and offered no help to get me of them. Isn't it the obligation of the physician to wean the patient off or offer an alternative? I did not want to take anything stronger because I could not function. My physician gave me the name of a pain clinic but did nothing to assist me in getting an appointment. I called them and the soonest appointment is 2 months out. I have been thru hell going from taking two 50 mg tablets 3 times a day to nothing. I...
