I have been using Tramadol for around 3-4 months, so a puppy in comparision to others. My problem is that I have gone from 500-600mg/day down to 50mg in a week and I have never felt so bad in all my life. When I was younger I messed around with recreational drugs and never had a downer like this. I feel unable to stop my emotions falling out of my face at any given moment, if I sweat any more I am going to be tiny (42lbs lost so far). My week has been M,12 - T,10 - W,8 - T,4 - F,2 - S,1 - S,0. I have not been at work for a week or so due to feeling so bad and really need to get back before I get the bullet. I am 36hrs clear and using zoplicone for the sleep problems, how much longer do I have to do to be completelty clear and restart building my life again after this evil drug? ## Well,...

which is stronger hydroco/acetamin 5-500 or Hydroco 10-500mg? Is it the same as Vicadin? I have a large tear in my rotator cuff. I just was given the 5-500mg. They told me it was Vicadin at the doctors office. I already had a bottle mostly untouched of the 10-55 because a doctor seemed worried that it was addictive and gave me tramadol which I can't say touches the pain. ## The one with the higher amount of the Hydrocodone is stronger, since it is the narcotic and the Acetminophen just helps it to work better. Both are generics for Vicodin, Norco or Lortab. You can learn more Vicodin details here. Another note that needs to be added here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products ...

RAN OUT OF HYDROCOAPAP TAB 10-325MG, BUT HAVE TRAMADOL 50 MG, CAN I SUBSTITUTE?? ## Have you consulted your doctor? The Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and the Tramadol is very mild, though it is distantly related, so you aren't likely to get the same effective pain relief that you do from the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen tablet. ## If you are worried about your withdrawls, then yes you can. The max dose in 24 hours is 400mg. That's 8 pills. I did the same thing and took 200mg in the morning and 150 at night just to be safe. It will hold back the withdrawls and you will sleep comfortably. However, because its not an opiate, they will not "F" you up. You will not get HIGH from these. They do however trap seratonin for longer periods of time in your brain which for most peop...

I am on several medications and I would like to know if they harm a baby early in a pregnancy. I may be pregnant, less than 3 weeks along (waiting for blood tests) but I am worried that my life-long medications have already harmed the baby if I am in fact pregnant. Is it still too early for the medications to have had an effect? I have cerebral palsy and chronic pain and am on these medications to treat all my symptoms - Tramadol, Ibuprofen, Diazepam, Temazepam, Cetirizine, Paracetamol, Propanolol, Amitriptyline, Oxybutynin and Tranexamic Acid. ## Hi Emma, Quoted below are the pregnancy warnings for each of the 10 drug names that you mentioned in your description. ## is Tremadol hcl/apap an opiod angenstic? ## No, Tramadol with Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Ultracet is not an opiate narcotic, though it is derived from one and at one point it was classified as one. Learn more Ultracet details here. The classification was changed to place it under general centrally acting analgesics, when it was discovered that while it has the potential to he habit forming and can cause side effects similar to opiates, it doesn't alleviate pain as well as they do. This was actually the opposite of the desired effect, when this compound was being research and created they want to keep the potency of opiates for pain relief, but remove the negative side effects and addiction potential, so this one did a total flip. Are there any other questions? Is th...

I was PAINFULLY curious as to the effectiveness tramadol has for moderate/severe toothaches. Usually 800-1000 mg(4 or 5)of ibuprofen alleviate my toothaches, but my friend gave me 6 50mg. tramadols suggesting they might help. Please, anyone with info or reply will be greatly appreciated. thanks!!! ## For anyone looking for this information, Tramadol is a centrally acting analgesic, so it really has as good of a chance of helping with a toothache as any other pain reliever. The caveat, of course, is that this is a prescription medication, so it shouldn't be taken if your doctor hasn't prescribed it. Additionally, it is derived from an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation...
