I want to know if tramadol shows as an opiet in a hair follicle test. The company I'm working for does a thirteen panel drug screen. Is that a test that breaks down specified prescribeddrugs for what they are or one that just says there's opiets in your system?? ## From what I could gather, a 13 panel screening tests for: Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Opiate 2000, Marijuana, Phencyclidine PCP, Methadone, Benzodiazepine, Barbiturate, Tricyclic Antidepressants, Propoxyphine, Oxycodone and Buprenorphine only. Since Tramadol hydrochloride is a centrally acting synthetic "opioid" analgesic, it will show up as an opiate in a hair follicle test. While there is always the chance of a false-positive, It is important to know that hair follicle tests can detect drugs from ...

I have been there I know what you mean. But I ask my doctor if he could take me off of that and give me Tramadole 50mg and with Tramadole you wont have the side effects from the pain killers it will take all of that away. Hope I was able to help you ## Hi Melvin, I'm not sure who you might've been responding to since this is a relatively new discussion thread with no other posts…but it's imperative that you don't give out false information pertaining to the side effects of Tramadol. All prescription medications have the potential to cause side effects in some users. And while not everyone experiences these side effects, you can't necessarily rule out those who do (especially those facing addiction or dependance issues). Linked below is a list of possible side e...

Generally how long does it take to be physically dependent on Tramadol? tks. CItyboy. ## There is no set time frame to give in response to this. It can vary from person to person and doesn't even happen to everyone that takes it. Some people can be more prone to dependence and/or addiction than others. Their tolerance level to such medications can also play a role. Learn more Tramadol details here. Are there any other questions or concerns?

Tramadol is no more effective in controlling severe chronic pain than aspirin or Tylenol. It is so weak it should be an OTC medication. Its totally useless in controlling severe chronic pain. ## Sorry that it hasn't help you. However, it does work very well for some people that take it. Everyone is different, so what doesn't work for you may work very well for someone else and vice-versa. Learn more Tramadol details here. It didn't work for me, either. When I tried it, all it did was make me sick. However, there are many other posts from those that get great relief from it. Have you talked to your doctor about it? It's likely just not the right medication to help you and you'll probably need to try something else.

I need everyone to know that mdaligne is extremely unprofessional and shady. I have been ordering from them for a few months almost every order was short and not a couple double digits every time. I wasn't aware that there was other places to order from. They wouldn't refund my money and after me calling them multiple times they haven't fixed it. They stated it must because of their pill counters. The last time they were 1/3 short I guess their counter was way off which is not ok. I am so glad to see there are other places that are way better and not shady. Many of the online sites that advertise under a different name redirect you to mdalignes site. don't get made a fool like I was use anyone else!

I too have increased energy and cheerfulness with a single 50 mg Tramadol. When I don't take it for a day I am very lethargic and ache. I try not to take it more than a few days in a row. The doctor is surprised at the side effects. Thank you to those who shared a similar experience. I had been wondering if this was my imagination. I hope to stay off it several days to see if my usual energy returns as it did eventually the last time I didn't take it for several days. It's a great mild pain reliever, but the mood alteration concerns me. ## Hi, Suellen! How are you? The classification for Tramadol has changed several times over the years, right now it is once again classified as an opioid and they can cause increased energy and euphoria in some people that take them. That...

Hi, I've been having migraines everyday of the week. the most severe migraines generally occur 2x a week or so. My neurologist has tried me on Tramadol, Nadolol, Fioricet, Fiorilan, Propranolol, Topamax, Excedrine, Ibuprophen, Aceteminophen, you name it! Nothing seems to knock it out unless I go into a deep sleep (I'm talking 7 hours+) because a 3-hour nap won't knock it out. I need to know of any pain doctors in the manalapan/freehold/morganville/old bridge (central jersey area) that are willing to understand where my pain is coming from. The only thing that I've tried before that has knocked it out is oxycodone. I hear it's very addictive, but I'm not a drug addict I just need to knock out this pain! If anyone could pleaseeee help me with my situation. My neuro...

I have a canine who is taking Denosyl for a liver problem. She has apparently hurt her hind leg and is limping, which has started to get worst. The earliest our vet can see her is in a few days. Our other canine is taking tramadol for a pulled muscle. Can we give the canine with the liver problem a tramadol, or will it cause a problem with her Denosyl? Thank you ## Hi Mollie, Based on my research, using Denosyl (which contains the active ingredient (SAMe [S-Adenosylmethionine]), is generally safe to use for canines along with Tramadol. I've read of other canine owners using this combination with much success. However, it is very important that your vet provides you with the correct dosage for your canine to ensure that no problems occur. If you can't meet with your vet, maybe yo...

I received these big white oval shaped pills over the internet that I believe were supposed to be DHC but are not (not tramadol either which I sometimes order). These are about 3 times the size as DHC and do not have an imprint, a score line, nothing. I took some thinking they were a generic and I just felt kinda out of it and dosed off for like an hour or two then they wore off. They felt nothing like any opiate. Maybe its some type of Flexiril or something. ## Hi Julie, Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly what this pill is since it doesn't have an imprint. It may be what you ordered, but just a very weak formula. Purchasing pills online is very risky, as I'm sure you realize now. Many online companies sell pain medications that are filled with random inactive ingredient...

I found a pill when moving house, its a round, white, almost chalky pill with T1 on one side and what looks to be a symbol very similar to the libra star sign on the other side (2 parallel lines, one with a semi-circle coming out of one of the lines). Can anyone tell me what it is? ## Hi Aaron, I have identified a small round yellow pill with the imprint T1 as Levonest; which contains the active ingredients ethinyl estradiol (0.03 mg) + levonorgestrel (0.05 mg). You may have one of the placebo (sugar pills), which are usually the white pills in a pack of birth control. Manufacturer: Novast Laboratories, Ltd. This pill is an extended cycle combined oral contraceptive pill. These particular types of birth control are COCPs packaged to reduce or eliminate the withdrawal bleeding that occur...

I had a blood test and tested positive for methodone but never touched the stuff. Please inform me why this would happen because there is alot in jeopardy with this false reading. I do take medication for arthritis (tramadol, hydrocodone, prednisone) asthma (ventolin inhaler) and high blood pressure (lisinopril). Please help me understand why this false positive for methodone occurred when I have never ever taken methodone. Not sure what to do to prove this is a false reading. Please advise me and thank you for you help with this matter. ## It was most likely caused by the Hydrocodone that you take, it is well known that one opiate narcotic may cause false positives for another on the less expensive, non-certified tests. celebrated anniversary and consumed 2 glasses of red wine while on Tramadol. Was this ok as it specifically warns not to on the label?? ## The reason that warning is on the label is because combining it will alcohol can worsen the side effects of the medication, so you may experience much more dizziness, drowsiness and nausea than usual. It kind of makes one drink equal to 2 and so on. Additionally, both the Acetaminophen and the alcohol can have detrimental effects on your liver, though it is doubtful that any long term harm was caused by just two glasses of wine. However, if you are concerned, then consult your doctor to be on the safe side. Learn more Tramadol details here. Learn more Acetaminophen details here.
