Tramadol Shortage (Page 50)

Does anyone know of a pharmacy with tramadol available? I tried ordering it but everyine keeps telling me its out of stock and not available until after the holidays. I run out of my rx today and can't wait until after the holidays so any help is appreciate it.

Hey Colleen, that number you gave me i had no success with. i tried it from two diff phones thinking it was me. i dial it and nothing happens. do they have a website?

Loo you can believe what you want hun. I am just saying that i make sure i don't run out due to withdrawls and this company has never let me down. I have dealt with hundreds of companies and this is one I am not worried about getting shut down. Just in case I keep a little book of many other contacts that I have the option to use as well.

I'm just saying you need a backup. The companies that are operating illegally are getting shut down left and right, trust me. To believe they will always be there with no issues is not going to do you any favors. And I don't believe it, I know it. I know one of these guys personally and they all work through the same few companies. Steve and Dave are affected the same as any other pharmacy or source because they work for the same huge hub. There are no individual tramadol sources unless they buy it and sell it in bulk.

kym, i found a website that is most likely the same biz. im gonna try and place an order and see what happens. i just googled what Colleen referenced their name as in her last post #983. i will post up the results of the contact, etc.

Click remedy and usual ending. The have good prices, authenticate products n 100 & 200mg caps... No luck with colleens source, they state someone would call within an hour but nada so far. They prob stock down too.

kb. You said click r has 1 to 200 mg? I only see 50 mg trams. Are thy called something else on that website? thanks.

excerpt from a reliable source about the tram issues:

Dear Customer, we are sorry to inform you that the shipment of your order has been delayed. Please read carefully below, we want you to fully understand why such delay.

Due to some recent Manufacture and Board of Pharmacy (BOP) Regulations towards this industry, we are making the corresponding changes/updates on our daily operations in order to be fully in compliance with the new regulations.

In regards to the BOP: This is what will really take time and will define when we will start fulfilling orders again. Although we already submitted all the required applications to each BOP on all the States we are currently fulfilling, each BOP will respond on a different time-frame. We have so far received a couple of approvals however, there will be some states (already advised) where these new requirements could take up to 30 days in order to be processed.

In regards to the Manufacturers: Due to so many other concerns towards this industry most of the manufacturers have raised their cost since March 2013, however we did our best to keep our prices low (as always) and none of our Customers has faced those price changes. Unfortunately, there are some other new manufacture restrictions where we will not be able to help as much. Once we start processing orders again we will only be able to provide 90 Tabs Supplies on Tramadol, Methocarbamol and Tizanidine. This will be the scenario at least until Nov, 2013 when the new restrictions will expire. Our availability will rely on how the manufacturers extend this or not towards 2014. The good news is that now you will be allowed to reorder more frequently (half the time as before).

Tracie let me know if you have any luck with getting your order, i placed one on Thur. w dave or steve i will keep you posted on how soon i get mine as well. another thing i thought about is i order the green caps i like them a little better than the tabs maybe that is y i have had no issues with the low stock thing.

for me they are much stronger, but i have also had a gastric bypass this could be why these are stronger for me cuz caps melt and absorb quicker than a tablet with all the fillers they put in the tablets

Green and yellow capsules are sustained release. If you take more than a couple trams a day, they will not work for you. Sustained release is NOT like the tramadol you're used to and I doubt anyone who has been taking tramadol for an extended period would be happy with them. They're actually much weaker, considering they release very small amounts of medication over the course of the day.

I have to correct you, Kym- capsules take longer to break down than tablets. And capsules also contain fillers. They were specifically made for use of slower release medication.

LOO if you read the begging of my post i "said for me" this is my opinion and my body i was speaking about. I do not take the capsules whole i empty them and take them so they are not extended release when i take them. I have taken tramadol for almost 20 years hun I have taken 40 to 60 pills a day for about ten years i have cut back to 30 to 40 pills a day now, but i know what works for me and what does not. thanks for you thoughts but i know my system and what works for me and my body. The all green caps and the yellow and green work the best for me.

Coleen I tried calling her but i had a totally different number LOL that must have been my mistake the number i have is an 888 number. I dont know where that came from?

That's incredibly dangerous, as I'm sure you know. If you haven't had a seizure yet, you are at an incredibly high risk. I truly hope you cut down much more than that as soon as possible. Hopefully youre not driving when taking those doses. And I was simply saying capsules do not break down faster than tablets, which is exactly what you said. It wasn't an opinion, you stated it as a fact, and it was incorrect. You can have your opinion on what works for you, but the fact is that tablets break down faster.

Also, if you are taking extremely high doses of SR capsules, of course they'll give you a high and pain relief. But I urge you to cut way down as soon as possible especially seeing as you've had gastric bypass surgery. This actually increased your risk of overdose and seizure. I understand you've taken it for a long time, but I'm a med student who has done studies on this medication, and everyone who overdoses on tramadol says they didn't see it coming and many took large doses for years before suffering a seizure or worse. But I imagine you already know the dangers of taking 30-40 a day.
