Tr/potassium Clavulanate
UpdatedAmox TR/Potassium Clavulanate 875-125. I know Amoxicillin is an antibiotic. What is TR-Potassium Clavulanate and what is it for. I am taking this for a sinus infection.

It's more commonly referred to as Clavulanic Acid, it basically enhances the effects and efficacy of the Amoxicillin to make it work better, the name brand for this would be Augmentin.
This medication may cause side effects, such as: nausea, skin rash, diarrhea and dizziness.
