Tested Positive For Suboxone And Never Used It

I am on pain management. My back was fractured and my leg was shattered from a motorcycle accident. I take oxycodone 15 mg and recently the doctor added Fentanyl 75 mg and dropped my monthly oxycodone prescription to 4 times a day instead of 5. The Fentanyl does not stop the intense throbbing pain, and I no longer receive social security because I went back to college and with the medicine they said I can function, which I could. A month ago, I tested positive for suboxone. I have never taken suboxone in my life other than one time several years ago, when they tried it for pain management and I became violently ill and never touched it again. My doctor immediately cut another 30 of my oxycodone and was going to cut another 30 of them. I insisted on another drug test but it was 2 weeks later and of course that test was fine. Now, my doctor and the nurses are looking at me like I am a liar and taking suboxone when I did not and cutting my meds and I cannot work without them and now have $60,000 in school loans and about to graduate and do not think I can work at this point because of the drop in meds. I have searched all over but cannot find any list that specifically shows what could have caused this false positive. I also am on a breathing machine and take nasal steroids and benadryl and sometimes Afrin. I am at a loss as to what to do. I have cried every night because of the pain I am in and this certainly is not helping my nerves at all. Any help or if anyone knows what could possibly have made this false positive, I would be grateful. Also, I do not know if it matters but there was hardly any urine because I had just went to the bathroom and they were not sure if they even had enough to do the testing.

As a sub user,ett believe there is a test for that yet. U will fail almost everything on one of those urine panel test and a blood for all the stuff ur on. of course its everything they test for. Go get ur records. Subs does not show up. but everything else will. u would be sick as a dog if you take all that and subs. someone is lying r trying to get one off on you. please check. The state and feds aren't spending the money and doesn't want us to use it cause it works and they aren't changing there 5/10 panel urine test now. but when u do a urine test it had to go up to that certain line to be able to measure the temp and get enough. so that can void that test. hey a hair folical test is only 35 bucks, go get on and show it to there face.

HELP! I have NEVER taken Suboxone in my life. I've never even seen it in real life. After 5 years of clean urine screens for pain management, I suddenly tested positive for it in June. I swore to my doctor I hadn't taken Suboxone or anything else not prescribed to me (because it was and is true) he said he had never seen a false positive but that he was inclined to believe me and would run more specific tests. I went back in a few days ago and he said that I had tested positive a second time, that Suboxone contains a very specific molecule that cannot be misidentified and that he would chalk it up to adulterants in my medications if other patients had tested positive, but no one else had. I'm pretty sure he doesn't believe me anymore. He was willing to send one more sample to another lab, but if it comes back positive he has to discontinue my pain meds. I am taking Zoloft, Xanax, Perphenazine (generic Trilifon), Trazodone, Oxymorphone, Oxycodone, Zyrtec, Excedrin, Sudafed, multivitamins, calcium and magnesium. I stand to lose the Oxycodone and Oxymorphone and, given the severity of the pain I'm facing, that literally puts my life on the line. I feel completely powerless because I never put Suboxone in or on my body in the first place, meaning there is nothing I can do to fix this. I'm scared to death and I don't know where to turn. Please DO NOT give me advice on getting away with taking Suboxone because I can't use it and I don't want it. PLEASE DO respond with ANY information or advice you may have for someone who really is not taking Suboxone and is testing positive for it

Hey I understand that sometimes this kind of crap happens and if it happens to you than that is TOTAL CRAP. Maybe someone you know who you kissed is taking it and had left over residue in there mouth. There are really a number off ways that you can get medicines in your system without actually knowingly taking it. I would advise that you ask your doctor if you can take a hair drug test. You are just going to have to bite the cost and get it done. If it still shows positive, then somehow you got the suboxone in you unbeknownst to you. So if you do lose your PM doctor just go and try and find a new one.
