Taper Off 100 Mg. Savella

I'd like a chart/calendar to learn how to taper off 100 mg Savella. Cannot seem to find anything on the net.

Jolene...what symptoms are you experiencing while coming off of Savella? I too, am coming down off of Savella and am sicker than I have ever been.

Due to the severe nature of withdrawals, in my honest opinion it would probably be wise to discuss this type of approach with your doctor.

However, usually for drugs like this, the safest way to stop taking them is to wean off them if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them.

@Jolene,
I actually have a close relative with Fibromyalgia and he claims that exercising regularly really helps to keep the symptoms at bay. I don't know how severe his case is on a scale of 1-10, but perhaps a light to moderate exercise regimen can be helpful in that regard.
