Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4 Mg And Dutasteride 0.5 Mg (urimax D)

Updated

I have problem of BPH, size is 28 gm weight and post void urine retention is 40 ml. I have been taking this combination tablet one in the night for the last two years. Is it safe to use it for long periods. I have found some relief from this drug. In the night I have to get up for urination two times and in the day there is not much problem. Can I discontinue the medicine for some time and see the reaction for some time.

I have taken urimax 0.4 for last ten years, with no ill effects. I cannot afford to take chances of discontinuing, lest there is irreversible change of the size from 35 gm.

I am taking Urimax D (Tamsulosin hydrochloride .4mg and .5 mg Duta steride ) at night for the last about 2 years.I have to go for urine two times .Rest there is no other serious side effect. How long it is safe to take this tablet. And also pl. inform if Dutasteride has the same side effect of pain killer steride. Because steride tab. does not suit me. as I am heart patient and taking other medicine like ramipril (5mg bd),LN Block,(5mg BD) Nebivolol 5mg OD,atrovistin 10 mg At night,Lorpin75 at night.Kindly advise

Does anyone know where I can get tamsulosin over the counter? I have taken it for 4 years. My urologist has done a biopsy the last three years. I informed him a have no bleeding. I don’t have to get up in the night to urinate. I feel good and am 70 years old. I told my doctor I’m not doing a biopsy this and he informed me he no longer wanted to see me unless Ii have the biopsy done. Therefore he would not renew my prescription. So I went to another urologist and he told me that I have an enlarged prostrate. At 70 yrs old most of us do. The first item on his agenda is a biopsy. I explained that I have no other problems except getting up at night. Once again I’m told he cannot help me. And again no prescription. I don’t feel I need pieces of my prostate taken from me every year. I have tried saw palmetto and others to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.
