Taking Methadone But Va Urine Test Came Back As Morphine The Last 3 Times
UpdatedI was going to a private pain mgmnt who gave me 10mg twice daily. I switched to VA as the injury was military related and they switched me to 5mg methadone 3 times daily. I've only been with VA for three months now and got a phone call telling me they were dropping me because Morphine has shown up on all three urine tests? How is that possible? I swear I haven't taken anything other than the Methadone as prescribed!!!! Any reason Methadone would show up as Morphine? I paid for private urine and blood specifically tested for Morphine. Blood came back 100% negative but Urine came back with slight trace of Morphine?? No way, I have not been taking Morphine!! Any ideas or explanations?! Thanks.
