I have to take rifampin for two years. What are the side effects I should worry about?

This medication does have a risk of hepatoxicity, so your doctor should be monitoring you and checking your liver function regularly via blood panels.

Its side effects may include nausea, flushing, dizziness and flu-like symptoms.
