Burts Better Health Products has Lemon and Cream of Tartar Wafers with sulphur. Look for his website. It is acclaimed to be the same as I took many years ago.

For those looking for cream of tarter tablets you can get the same results by just taking a 1/8 tsp of pure sulfur per day for a few days to get rid of most skin problems... Any allergy to sulfur is probably just an allergy to "Sulpha" drugs and not sulfur , the element 16.. sulfur is available online.. in the tablets the cream of tarter was used as a binder and for taste..

It's about $70 for a Dr. Pill Punch pill press. You can make your own pretty cheap. Buy the sulfur from your local farm supply 5 lbs for about $15, and the cream of Tartar from Amazon (10 lbs for about $40). You will have to figure out the proper ratio, but it would be easy to make your own. DO NOT SELL!! The FDA closed down the people who were selling the pills because they weren't clean enough.. But for now, what you choose to eat is still YOUR BUSINESS. Good luck.

Do you know if this works on mites, not scabirs mites, bot the kind that get on birds and other animals but will bite people also. In W Texas mites are a problem.

Linda - we also took the "sulphur tablets" that my Granny furnished to us. They kept the bugs off of us and and she said that if we got a boil or "risin" they would purify the blood. Don't know if I believe that or not but would love to have some. I ordered some surphur tablets from Vitacost. They are tiny and you dissolve some under your tongue. I really am craving the taste of those lozenges that my Granny gave us. I would love to find them now!

I ordered my Red Arrow™ lemon Cream of Tartar™ wafers yesterday from Bertsbetterhealthproducts website located out of Ft.Worth, TX. And received the priority 2 day shipping today . I am starting my one tablet a day supplement to clear up some skin problems the doctors says is from fungi or similar o a yeast irritation from sweat. I have had it several months and took a soak bath in hot water and the powder form in my bath water. I noticed within a day the rash has begun to fade on my arms, but the smell of sulfur in my clothes is not easy to deal with. I am hoping that the sulpher regiment one wafer a day will clear my skin and detox my blood and intestines. I am also giving them to my dog one a day to see if will ease some of her itching and irritation. We shall see! I will come back periodically and post updates. I have a couple of great stories to post about the benefits of sulfur that I have true testimonial of this product/mineral. Best regards to all.

When I was young we always took a sulfur and cream of tartar the day before going to pick wild blackberries to ward off chiggers(found in southern woods). We also took them to cure boils. During WW II we were given sulfa drugs (before penicillin). We were warned to take the sulfa with two quarts of water, otherwise the sulfa could be lethal so I would beware of the idea that sulfur can' t hurt you.

Looking for those remembered sulfa wafers of my childhood, read all the postings. Was getting so excited to think I could find them, when I read yours and saw that now an artificial sweetener is used. So, so disappointing.
The other childhood recall, is wanting to drink salt water when coming inside hot and sweaty from playing. Now I understand why - highly recommend reading "The Calcium Lie II" by Robert Thompson, M.D. And now I put sea salt in my drinking water! Every glass.

If you cannot find the Cream of Tarter tablets you can take pure Sulfur, element 16. The proper dose is approx. 1/8 tsp or .1mg by weight. This is the mineral and no allergies have been reported. Sulpha drugs can cause allergies due to the manufacturing process. I have used pure Sulfur for many years with no negative side effects and actually gained the benefit of skin problem reduction experienced by the use of Cream of tarter tablets! pure Sulfur (99.8%) available online! a small amount placed on the skin will show if an allergy exist. Have not found ANY with pure Sulfur...

Just "Googl'ed" the wafers & appears that "berts better health products" offers them for approx. US$40+ per bottle of 120 wafers. HOWEVER, the site states that as of 6 July 2016, that his inventory is the "Last of the Mohicans" & when gone, no more. So. . . Good luck!

I use to go to Florida fishing . And the red bugs , ticks, mosquitos would eat you alive.then I found the wafer tablets. had no more trouble . IF THE Government. Would make them available again. The zeka out break could be brought under control . Would not half to spend millions of our dollars.But then what do we expect from this broken system?

Sulfur is a mineral. It is not poison and in small (reasonable) quantities can be taken orally. Why? because it provides a natural skin insecticide to prevent mosquitoes from "biting" U. A brilliant post on this site states the Zeka Virus problem can be taken care of by just the use of Sulfur taken orally.. Originally Cream of Tarter Tablets, which contain Sulfur were given as an insecticide. The tablets did so much more. They will prevent and cure Boils. Also other skin infections, many skin problems with no side effects. Our Government, with prodding from Pharma houses succeeded in getting rid of the Tablets with the ruse that they were not good and "antibiotics were better and should be used!!" Sulfur is a natural antibacterial. It is required in the body. Used topically for cuts, skin infections, etc. Further, NO one is allergic to Sulfur!! The allergy is with "Sulpha Meds", a Pharma product. Not the mineral Sulfur, Element 16. U should test it yourself. (modified "Shick") test. 1/8tsp = 1/2 cream of tarter tablet (Dose level).
