Sulfameth Trimethoprim Sun Exposure

Was out swimming and got sunburn on my back. Now i have hives on 1/4 of my body and fever. Itching and cannot sleep.

Have you contacted your doctor?

There are reasons that these medications usually list cautions about sun exposure, but your doctor may be able to suggest ways to alleviate the problem, such as some Benadryl, or something similar.

I was exposed to the sun while taking the above medicine I have small red bumps mostly on my legs and arms. I started taking benadryl. How long after should they go away?
