Subutex/opiate Question

I am on day 10 of a Subutex detox and I still feel kind of crappy and my head is really cloudy. I have to go for a job interview and I was wondering if anyone knew what would happen if I took an opiate to feel better for the interview would it affect my sub detox and set me back.

No, it’ll make u feel a lot better. But it won’t hurt the detox. I detoxed once off of subutex using lortabs . It eases the narly w/d . Helps u get much need rest too. Pain meds. Aren’t crap to detox from in my opinion! I’ll take pain meds detox any dang day over sub w:/d you’re on the 10 where u seem to be in a still feel like craaaapp mode. You’ll linger there for another 2-3 weeks then you’ll start feeling better. But honestly you’ll have w/d periodically for like 1 yr. you’ll be feel great and boom! Hot flashes and panic attacks. Then back to normal. Idk why people start sub to get off of pain pills? That’s one of the most stupidest ideas ever, people go from the frying pan right into the fire,
What do u think about the w/d? Are sub w/d worse than pain pill w/d? Heck yeah! To me anyways.

Ik this is an old message, but I'm replying 4 any others that may have the same question & come across it. If you're doing a short term sub detox from pills or other opioids, do NOT fix that crappy feeling/cloudy head/watery eyes/RLS with your old drug of choice. All u will be doing is starting that same old cycle back again. My BEST advice tho, from someone that's been on Suboxone for 10 years, DO NOT START IT! Lay down on your couch with some water & Gatorade, stay hydrated, take PLENTY of hot baths & showers 4 the leg & body pains & ride that withdrawal out! I'd rather come off of oxycontin 10x's than Suboxone once. I was off of it for a year & still went through DT's & had 2 go back. Go 2 your Dr, tell them you're coming off opiates & they'll give u stuff 2 help with the pain & sleeplessness. Or go 2 the hospital with alcohol in your system, tell them your an alcoholic looking 2 get dry & they'll put u on an ativan detox. Do ANYTHING besides Suboxone, or worse methadone.
