Subutex Detox

I have been struggling with the adiction of opiates off and on for seven years. I now have four kids and a great husband, my life is falling apart due to the substance abuse. I have been put on a waiting list to be taken in to a detox center and should go any day they use the five day subutex treatment. After all of the struggles i have been through I have never been more ready to get clean and stay clean. I was wondering if someone who has also used this form of detox can tell me what it is like? Are your systems still severally bad on the last few days or does the decreasing of the subutex help?

The tapering of the Subutex is done very slowly, in order to minimize the withdrawal effects, that it why it is such an effective treatment.

As long as you aren't abusing it and follow the doctor's instructions, then the withdrawal symptoms that you do experience, when you stop taking it, are very mild and only last for a short period of time.

It has successfully helped many people to become completely drug free.

HEY...WELL I CAN GO AHEAD AND TELL YOU...WELL FIRST OF ALL, MY LIFE IS MUCH SIMILIAR TO YOURS. I HAVE BEEN AN OPIATE ADDICT FOR BOUT 8 YEARS AND I HAVE BEEN ON SUBUTEX FOR OVER A MONTH NOW AND I AM MORE ADDICTED TO IT THAN I WAS THE PAIN PILLS! SERIOUSLY...IN MY OPINION, IT'S VERY ADDICTIVE. BUT OUR PROGRAM HERE IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOUR SAYING...WHAT IS A 5 DAY SUBUTEX DETOX PROGRAM? BECAUSE HERE, THE DOCTORS PRESCRIBE IT AND YOU STAY ON IT FOR LONGER THAN 5 DAYS. IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY DONE A 5 DAY DETOX FOR SUBUTEX THEN MAYBE I WOULDN'T BE SO ADDICTED TO IT. BUT IM ON IT CAUSE MY BABY DOCTOR PUT ME ON IT AND I'VE BEEN ON THE SUBUTEX FOR 2 MONTHS.
