There is a website that lets you search for doctors that provide treatment with Suboxone in your area.

You can find it and use their search database.

From there, you'd just need to check with any local doctors about the types of insurance they accept.

Does anyone have a doctor they can suggest?

thank you for responding it was not easy at all but I did find a wonderful physician that I saw today in fact with Jydes family practice for future reference to anyone looking for a doctor that accepts medicaid and prescribes suboxone.

Hi I was just wondering, did they prescribe it to you immediately and was it totally covered by Medicaid?? I was doing research online and see that they require a three month authorization or something to get it approved? I am in ga as well and want to get on suboxone bc I cant afford my methadone maintance treatment anymore... please let me know if you can asap...thanks

There I also a Dr John Sparti in Dallas Georgia,that takes Medicaid.i would give info but I don't think it will put it on.all you have to do is Google or whatever a Dr.John Sparti in Dallas Georgia.there is only one prescribes suboxone.good luck
