Mommy of 3 thank you. I did get the message and I was told there he is not accepting patients at this time. I found a Dr. Kahn and was placed on a waiting list. He is high as well. $240.00 for the first exam plus $50.00 for drug screen. Then you go back in I think 2 weeks and pay $200.00 plus always have $50.00 on you in case they drug screen, after that you go monthly for $240 (but always have $50.00 on you just in case) I have a Dr. that can see me Monday; however he wants $300.00 for the first visit, then he writes a script for just one sub strip. You go into withdraws for 2 days and then go back for induction and take the one strip. He then writes a script for 7 subs and you go back again. When you go back you pay $175.00 and then he will start writing for 30 days and you pay $175.00 each visit. He can get me in but I don't have $300 all at once. Yes some may think well you can get drugs and that is true but not $300 worth at one time. I left his office a message saying I could pay $150.00 the 18th then the remaining $150.00 May 8th (I would sign a binding contract) to assure my payment; however they have yet to call back. I want to be on subs, no I really need to be on them. I am really considering contacting an inpatient treatment program and they will accept me. Perhaps prior to being released from treatment the facility can help with finding me a provider. If anyone else has any luck whatsoever please share. I thank each of you!

Hey guys, New Directxone in Greenwood are strict and give drug panels every time you go so don't think you can screw around cuz you'll get caught! It's $300 a month Cash only, they do give generic Subs so the cost of the pills are only $4 each. Cool docs. Oh you have to do counseling sessions, they provide them there for $30. Give em a call if your needing a place. Good Luck

You can pay cash even if you have insurance. Reason why not all doctors are accepting patients due to the max allowed on Medicaid so you can pay cash for office than meds are covered. Fact

I paid $300 the first month and $175 a month after and my hip pays for my medz. They did have openings a month ago, but no one listened to me. maybe they still do.

For warning tho, and I mentioned this before, because I wanted to know what are other people's experience with this, they may give you the newer forms of sub. which is Subsolv or Bunivil. It doesn't bother me but when I was switched from sub to zubsolv I was am still tired at for some reason. I thought mayne I wasn't taken enough to level out my tolerance or maybe to much, but I have tried both and still always tired. Idk

Can I ask what doctor? I'm scared to get back on subs but I have struggled for 15 years with opiate problems. I can't believe I messed up got myself back here again after all I have been through! Now, I'm scared because I'm not sure if anyone will take me on medicaid. Seems silly! Help please

Bambam... It's Dr. Steven Segal and no they don't take Medicaid or ANY insurance for the appointment but they will get you a prior authorization for your medicine through HIP plus cause that's what I have and they are doing it for me! But your first month is gonna be close to $800!!!

*1st visit: $250.00
*2nd visit (the very next day): $75.00
*3rd visit (the 2nd week of the 1st month): $150.00
*4th visit (3rd week of the 1st month): $150.00
*5th visit (4th week of the 1st month)..(which after this visit you start going bi-weekly the 2nd month): $150.00

***2nd month visits***
*6th visit (1st bi-weekly appointment): $150.00
7th visit (2nd bi-weekly appointment)... (Then you go back in 2 weeks to start your monthly appointments!!): $150.00

And they just continue being $150.00 monthly as normal. It's hard to start out spending that much money at once. The first month was so hard on money but I got through it. It means the world to me to have my recovery in my hands and have it under control! I love the place and they get you in and out super quick if you make your appointments for right when the dr gets there at 2:20ish! I can't speak for later on in the day but they don't even start seeing patients until 2pm! It sucks cause I have to be at work at 5pm so I had to have arrangements for my son to be gotten from school or the bus that drops him off in front of my house... But it's all worth it in the end for sure!! Hope this helps you also, daddyof4... Good luck to you both!

Bambam. Where are you located? My son has HIP plus and sees a doctor in Louisville by the name of dr. Britt. His phone number is 502-445-6325. Its $225 for the first week $100 for the week after and then 2 weeks later its $125. Then you go monthly and it's $225 a month. My son went to see him they got him in immediately and my son said that he is the best doctor ever he is down to earth and really cares about his patients. He understood my son's situation and only made him pay the $225 for the first month and gave him the whole month supply. They had his pre-authorization done in 24 hours so he got his meds then the very next day for free. They don't have a waiting list so if I were you I would make the trip to Louisville it's very well worth it.
