Price Of Oxycodone 30 Mg

I had no idea there was an 80mg oc...i take 30mg 4/daily. What is the max dose for continuous pain from surgeries and chronic pain? I am going to pain management - are they restricted on pain meds? I also was taking 75mcg fentanyl but i got down to 25mcg. Is there any risk in taking a higher dosage, concerning resp. problems?..ty.

There is always going to be an effect on your respiratory system when using opiates/opioids. In fact that is how modern medicine came into the use of opiates - not only as an anesthetic for pain but for relief from a plethora of respiratory ailments. During the turn of the 20th century Bayer Asprin Corp. began manufacturing drug store Heroin to help combat everything from Whooping Cough and Influenza (which was an epidemic at the time). And yes there are 80mg OxyContin (rather OPs at this point) - I am not sure if they're still in existence but there used to be 160mg OCs. If you are sincerely attempting to manage pain (and not merely get loaded on opioids) I would recommend you look into either a regiment of 4-8mg Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) combined with 5-10mg Hydrocodone (Norco/Vicodin - preferably Norco, for its significantly lower dose of acetaminophen) instead of the Oxycodone and Fentanyl. I have seen friends suffering from such agonizing diseases as Pancreatic Cancer and terminal stage AIDS find great relief in the "Hydro" cocktail. Another option that has worked for me in the past - I am a survivor of a once Stage Three Hodgkin's Lymphoma - was a daily maintenance program of 120mg liquid Methadone. I never comment on these so I hope that I did okay, and hopefully at least one thing I shared was beneficial to you.

They both cause breathing. Problems &.mixing higher doses could be fatal. When you say oc are you referring to oxycontin or roxicodone.(oxycodone) I take morphine 30 extended release twice daily & roxicodone 15mg up to 6 In a 24 hr period. I hate the roxicodone because it makes me to foggy & I can't concentrate. Im amazed you can take 30mg without looking like a zombie,lol. But everyone is different. I prefer Percocet 10mg Because I've taken it so long that I don't get side effects anymore& it still helps breakthrough pain. Idk If this was helpful but I wish you the best of luck!

Of course they can. Plus the watchdogs would definitely be following this. Especially if the prescribee is an adult.

It is obvious that these"prices" depend heavily on your location and what drug is in demand in that area but I do know that it is definitely not as easy to get prescribed as just going to dr and proving you have legitimate pain. And if you go in and ask a perspective doctor if he is "sympathetic" to pain sufferers he will definitely flag you as a drug seeking addict to everyone and most likely alert the DEA! I took pain medication for a chronic condition for 20 years and was maintaining a decent quality of life until my doctor retired to hospice care(much more $$, so who can blame her), but since then, if I even mention my pain medication history when applying to a new dr, I am immediately informed that no dr in that practice will prescribe that medication(and not high mg oxycodone doses like 20's or 30's either, I was only taking 3-10mg hydrocodone/day) and told that none of them will accept me as a patient. They sometimes suggest a pain clinic, lol, pain clinic in Ky? Now we are talking cash only places at least an hours drive from me and cost like $200-$350 per month where they treat you like a druggie and make you take off work to come in 2 times a month and have some borderline psychotic rules(wanna actually see the urine leave my genitals every single time even though I am in their bathroom alone with the water turned off from outside And by the way, not the dr or even a male, it's a female nurse with whom I went to high school. Not to mention the 3-5 hour appointment wait times and the ridiculousness of it all just to receive the exact same medication I have been taking for 10 years with no problems?? I don't understand how DEA can do this. Are the drs so afraid to treat a patient correctly that they have no choice or are they deliberately trying to push people to go the illegal route so the dealers can name their prices?
