Still No Roxicodone Anywhere In Palm Beach County!?!?

Updated

I am a chronic pain patient and.like many of us, OUT of meds. I cannot fill my prescriptions each month. I have switched to dialudid and those don't work very well. I found an online service that would fill my script, signed up and they have been closed down before I got my 1st shipment. This is HELLISH. I HATE being on Roxi's, but its better than the alternative which is the crippling pain . Has ANYONE in the Palm Beach County area found a place to fill a prescription for Roxi's?!?!? Please help and God Bless...

Unfortunately, it seems like most people in your area are still having as much trouble getting them, as you are.

Have you tried any other alternative medications, such as Morphine? It's available in the same formulations as the Oxycodone, a time released, regular release and an instant.

have yor doctor switch you to OPANA 40mg, thier alot more potent than roxy's and you can take them orally or if you prefer to snort them , you can...just have to peel the coating off...be careful, their potent

Are they as difficult to find as Roxicodone? I have used dialudid but it didn't offer the same relief that Roxis did. I have heard about OPANA...are they easier to find?
Thanks for any suggestions!!!

Hi...
I live here in P.B.C also and hopefully can help... I have no problem filling my script and my pharmacist saves them for me every month so i dont have to deal with the bull s***. though they only will fill an rx for 90 of the 30's. where before i was getting 180. But now the law and pharmacy's play god on my pain... Screwed up... But my question for you does your dr take insurance. I have insurance and tired of having to pay $250.00 for an appt... Thanks for your help... Hit me up on xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy} if you are still looking for a pharmacy... Sorry everyone but i don't want to over flow her store when this is where i go.... Hope you understand.... Taryn ; )

I am looking for a dr in the pbc area who prescribes methadone and oxycodone for pain relief... Ugh... If they take insurance that would be the best... As far as OPANA goes they don't work for me.... I broke out in a terrible rash and even experienced labored breathing.... It was retarded... But debbie if you want email me at xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy} and i will give you some info...

Hello....Fed up with pharmacy's
I am responding to your last post... You said you know of a doctor who excepts ins.and prescribes pain management medications.. Locally here in PBC... I appreciate you assisting me with the information... The only thing is where i go to get my medication filled. There store stated that they will not fill over 90 of the 30mg oxycodone.. You could still give the rx and then fill 90 unfortunately you will have to lose other 20. But needless to say i fill my scripts in Royal Palm. Since you can count the # of pharmacies located there. Just do.a little leg work I just dont want to get the store swamped... Ty again for getting me the dr info... I will be looking for it.

i reside in pbc as well, i been on meds for pain since a sever rollover accident. lucky i survied the crashed, but my body didnt i cant even hold down a job w/o meds not so much with w/ds but pain lvls are just too bad. funds are bout out still havent got accepted for ssi/medcade. this sucks i get harrssed evertime time going to pharms. sooo many problems with this topic and it affects everone is is in legit pain even with many yrs of docmets. how is even right that you goto your doctor every month, do everything by the book and go to fill your meds which arent even the high powered stuff out there and pretty much all pharm turn you away with some type of an excuse. my arms in the air wtf is going on.

Hey all. I'm in Volusia County and my Dr. is trying to move me to a new non-narcotic pain med after 13yrs on the usual, lortabs, percocets, roxy's, etc. So I am in dyer need of a Dr. between Orlando and Ormond Beach that I can switch too. My Medical Center changed Dr.'s and the 1st time I met him he gave me 30 Tramadol!!!!! The withdrawls are severe and my leg injury keeps me from being able to walk 90% of the time. Anyone who could steer me in the right direction of a Dr. who understands would be greatly appreciated. And if so, I'd be more than happy to help others in my area find/use a couple of my wonderful pharmacists. Thanks a Ton.... all your help is a blessing.

I can help you with a doctor who is much cheaper or will take insurance if you can help me fill my script in palm beach county for Roxi 30mg?
Thanks!

If you have a regular monthly script, try getting them to order them for you. If you have legitimate pain, and radiology to show the pain, or records.....It shouldn't be a problem.

When your opiate receptors get 'full', it doesn't matter how many immediate release pain meds you take. You HAVE to go to extended release. If you take tons of immediate release, your receptors just get saturated, and then your liver pays the price. That's why the Dr. will change your meds, when Percocet, Roxi, IR Dilaudid, etc, no longer help.

Again, If you insist on staying on Immediate release, you will not get any pain relief. I talk to 50 pharmacists a week to verify scripts. If you have true pain DX, and it is all documented, the pharmacies will fill. They will call your Dr for any one-line C-II script. One line-meaning straight, immediate release. If they don't get the answers they want, they will not fill. They operate under their own license.

Your opiate receptors are saturated. You need a slow steady extended release with a BT (break through) instand release medication. If you are taking the immediate release time and time again, with not much relief, a board certified Anesthesiologist can help you. I know, I work for 5 of them.
