This tablet contains 10mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so it is equivalent to Roxicodone, not Oxycontin, which is a time released formulation and has no generics on the market.

And yes, people have been known to crush and snort virtually any pill they can get their hands on, even when it makes no sense to do so.

Common side effects to Oxycodone may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

As to other effects, crushing and snorting tablets, which are not intended to be used that way can be very dangerous. Many tablets contain fillers, which are not intended to be broken down by the human body and are normally expelled in your waste. When someone crushes a tablet and snorts it, they are putting these substances into their body and the body is unable to process them out.

This leads to serious risks, such as blockages and reduced lung capacity.

DITO, the same information would apply to trying to injecting that I stated in my prior post. Due to the fillers in tablets, such practices can be very dangerous.

Many tablets contain fillers, which are not intended to be broken down by the human body and are normally expelled in your waste. When someone crushes a tablet and snorts it, they are putting these substances into their body and the body is unable to process them out.

Injecting tablets that aren't meant to be used that way, can result in blockages, which could cause stroke or embolism.

This is why their are special formulations made for injecting medications.

Its definatly not worth the addiction the 10 mg's is fine to take on but the 30mg roxicodones r very addictive especially by snorting..

Yea question, r these stronger than percocet 5/325 also know as 500 mg??

Verwon Says:
Jada, these are stronger in the amount of Oxycodone they contain, since they contain 10mgs of it and the Percocet you mentioned contains only 5mgs, but they don't contain the Acetaminophen.

They wouldn't be known as 500mgs in any way, if they do not contain 500mgs of anything.

Keifer, have you ever looked into a pain pump, or have your doctors ever mentioned it to you?

It basically gives the medications via IV, that's permanently implanted, rather than your having to swallow pills.

That way, you'd no longer be relying on your stomach and intestines to process the medication.

6 30mg a day!!! Do you have bone cancer??? There is
No medical condition that warrants that type of abuse.
You have addition problem not a pain problem. You are on a one way trip to destruction!

Who are you to say that 6 30's of roxicodone is too much. Get shot in the face and have your jaw and spine blown out with several fusions and a replaced jaw..then talk to me about taking 6 30's a day is too much. Its not an addiction problem but a pain problem moron and you shouldnt put a general statement like that out since some people like myself are in legitamite pain 24/7 and not these people going in pill shopping saying they are in pain.
In the past 10 years I was on 4 80mg oxycontin a day and recently switched up to ms contin 24/7 with 6 30's oxycodone ir for breakthrough and this dosage is way smaller than the 4 80mg oxycontin I used to be on.
People need to understand there are some people who need this amount of the medicine in order to function without suffering in life, and not to generalize "everyone" who takes this amount is an addict! Oxycodone has given my life back and function just fine. Ive tried everything from fetanyl patches(duragesic), methadone, ms contin, oxycontin, morphine, demerol, and everything in between and oxycodone is by far the best pain reliever out of all these drugs with the ms contin for round the clock. Finally, with todays tough laws and cracking down on doctors, if your not in legitamite pain there arent too many people who can get that amount of the drug since your not a doctor. STFU and leave it to the pros before you label everyone an addict taking large doses of oxycodone. Like I said take a bullet in your face, have 5 cervical neck fusions in neck and titanium jaw to put you back together and then come talk to me about your opinion on taking pain meds in the dosage your labeling people as an addict!

60 , 30s is not that much. ive known pleanty of addicts that take 5,6 80's a day and dont even get high..
but for everyone in serious pain i would strongly recomend methadone..its been a miracle drug for my girl..she was ong 5 , 80's a day and in constant pain...alwasy takeing pills ..up and down...the methadone once a day has let her sleep the whole nite for the first time in years..the pain blocking effect lasts 24 hrs..and it blocks withdrawl for u dont feel withdrawl all the time.
the biggggg draw back...its at least twice as hard to get off as oxys or heroine. and the withdrawl lasts 2 weeks to a month. and its dangerous to quit cold turkey unlike opiates.......but if your in that much pain...its 100% worth it, cause your gona be on it forever anyways.

I agree with that.. My dad used to be on 4 30's a day and was recently diagnose with cancer and is now taking 12 30's and 2 oxy 80's per day! At first I thought this was way too much pain med but after going to a doctor visit with him and seeing how much it improves the quality of life for him It makes sense. Sure you get addicted but if you dont abuse it and it makes u have a better quality of life when u are in pain then so be it

incorrect i am a doctor in people that have to take that many due to pain issues the longer you are on them the less effective they are so in turn you need to up the dosage while there may be addiction in play it is stupid to assume automaticly that it is from addiction please research before you post

This doesn't make sense. If they add fillers that are not intended to be broken down by the human body then they wouldn't even put them in there. Even when you just swallow the pill you are still putting the entire pill's contents (including fillers) into your body, just because you are not injecting it directly into your bloodstream or crushing and snorting doesn't mean that you are not still putting these fillers into your body, fillers that are supposedly not intended to be broken down b y the human body.
