As you know, Florida continues having serious problems with access to pain medications for people all over the state. In a press conference last week about Florida’s success in reducing oxycodone-related overdose deaths, Florida’s surgeon general said he has not been hearing from people who are having trouble getting their medicines. I believe that getting personal stories straight to the surgeon general will bring needed awareness to this issue.
