Shreveport La Doctors

Relocated and all pain management doctors have 2 month waiting list. Help, I need a primary care doctor that can write oxycontin rx for 4 herniated disks until I can get in 2 see pain management dr. Any primary doctors in Shreveport Louisiana or Any area within 100 miles? Texarkana Tx, Texarkana Arkansas, Monroe, Louisiana, Longview texas tyler texas ?

A primary care doctor would be any that's listed as being a general practitioner or family doctor and there are hundreds listed in the areas you mentioned.

Any doctor that has a license to practice medication can write a prescription for Oxycodone. However, if you are calling to ask if they will prescribe it specifically, then that can create a problem, since most doctors will that as drug seeking behavior.

The best thing you can do is set up an appointment and make sure that they get a full copy of your recent medical records. If they can see what has and hasn't worked for you, as documented by a fell physician, there is a better chance that they will prescribe accordingly.

We do have documentation showing past rx's for oxycontin and MRI'S showing 4 herniated disks in the neck. The problem is all the pain management doctor's in area are full until end of DEC. Thank you for any help provided.
