Here's my experience. (I'm a 57 yo man) I was on 30mg of Trazodone. At first it worked. But after that year, the drug Seroquel was mentioned for the 100th time bcuz I didn't want to take such a strong med, but the type. After a little research Seroquel IS given at 25mg and 50mg 20 min before sleep. In all transparency, I suffer from Nocturia, a condition that make you wake 3-7 times to pee. My sleep was hardly worth the word.) I was given 50 mg trintellix and seroquel 10 mg to take combined. They don't know if I'm manic depressive or just have major depressive disorder. I'm on Seroquel XR & it ones up positive for THC when I test at probation. They have a complete list of my meds. Here in our county, they send it off to a lab that confirms it being either a " true or false positive ". It comes back from the lab as a false positive of course, since I do not use. I've been on Seroquel 30pmg at night for about a year now. My dr has prescribed Neurontin 300 ( for pain) 3 times a day one at night for 7 days then increase to 2 a day and so on. Ive had the neurontin for a while now but havent taken it I started back two days ago My job is very stressful I have to be at the top of my game. I have found myself being tired and a little loopy, this is why Ive started in the past and then stopped twice. If I continue the neurontin until it gets in my system will that change?? I have had serious difficulty swallowing my meds for 2 years+. I have had to crush and put in water, chew or not take at all. In doing so, My throat is constantly sore and inflamed.My meds get stuck every time when I don't, and have even gotten into my nasal cavities somehow during trying to swallow. I am seriously at my wits end, please help! ## Most medications are available in liquid form, since many people have trouble swallowing tablets. Not all, but the FDA does have some they've approved, so it is always worth asking your doctor for alternative dosage forms. I am at my pain dr writing this. I take 600 milligrams of seroquel at night to sleep. I was just drug tested, & showed up positive for an antidepressant (aka TCA). I had to argue w/ the test lady because I googled this info, & had the answer about why before she was even done dialing the phone # to the local pharmacy. I have been going to this Dr for several yrs, & have been on seroquel for many more, & this was the first time they have ever said anything about it to me. But she said that it was because they didn't have the drug testing kits they are now having to use. I was given these pills by the pharmacy in a refill instead of the Seroquel I should have gotten. Hi, I take 100 mg of seroquel at night and have for 10 years. I do have the 25 mg tablets as well as the 100 mg ones. I take this for sleep for fibromyalgia. I itch and itch now after I take seroquel. It is getting worse. Getting bruises from itching on my legs. :'( I have been having a feeling in my throat like itching and tickling. Been through this before with other types of medications. I have had hives from other medications I had to stop before. I am allergic to a lot of medications. As sensitive as I am, surprised I was able to take seroquel this long. I do feel like a zombie the next day. I am getting worse and worse reactions to this medication. Hi, Im a 23yr old female, have been taking Seroquel for about 2 months now. I had anxiety, racing thoughts, overthink, and couldnt sleep some nights, so my doctor prescribed me this. After a breakup and miscarraige it helped me get my life back together, I can think so clearly now and am so much happier within myself. It has stabilzed my moods!
