Schedule X includes Narcotic and Psychotropic drugs: They usually cause delusion, hallucination, psychosis, sedation, hypnosis etc.

The chance of drug abuse and addiction are higher with this drug category, so the dispensing and recording of it could be more stringent (less available to the public).

The specific list of psychotropic substances (that would be found on the Schedule X List) can be found at this link:
http://www.cbn.nic.in/html/SchPSAct.PDF

It is a list of about 110 drugs with their international non-proprietary names, other non-proprietary names & chemical names.

No. Diazepam and phenobarbitone (phenobarbital) are both Schedule H drugs. I do not know of any diazepine that is NOT sch H. Alprazolam, clonazepam, diazepam, etizolam, lorazepam and nitrazepam are all meds I have had from India in the last few months and all stated this clearly on the blister. It is also a legal requirement that the blister be printed with: 'Only to be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner'. Although Indian pharma firms manufacture many barbital derivatives, over 95% sold is phenobarbital, others like secobarbital (quinalbarbitone) & pentobarbital (formerly sold in yellow capsules under brand Nembutal) are used for heavy sedation almost exclusively on Surgical wards in Indian hospitals. The control of medicines grows stricter all the time and quality & price control is in force in allStates, the maximum retail price (MRP) must be overprinted on the blister normally in blue, along with expiry date.

Yes there
is no need to post the same thing several times. People can read. Medsindia does not publish a list like that. I will see what other places do but it will not be easy to find if that site does not have such a list. I will try but there is no definitive list available online and each drug's schedule is shown under its entry in those two main sites covering dvery marketed med in India along with MRP.
HAVE A LITTLE PATIENCE.
