That is also my best guess. There are many instances where the spelling or understanding of a drug name is based on what someone has heard and it can vary greatly depending on how it was pronounced by the person they heard it from. ….not to mention the inherent ability of pharmacologists to make many spellings and pronunciations as confusing and odd as possible. :-)

Seroquel is actually an atypical antipsychotic that's most commonly used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, but since it can cause drowsiness as a side effect, it can help with insomnia, especially in cases where other medications have been unsuccessful.
