NEED HELP FINDING A PHARMACY TO FILL DR. BYNES PRESCRIPTIONS
63 Replies RSS
I live in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. Diagnosed suffering from Degenerative Disc Disease, with Cervical Radiculopathy (one bulging disc) and Lumbar Radiculopathy (two bulging discs). These spinal problems are diagnosed by three (3) recent CAT Scans, with radiologist analyses. And yes, I have ALL of the CAT Scan CDs, and radiologist reports. I went to Frank Howard Bynes, M.D., a retired trauma surgeon, and practicing internal medicine M.D., here in Savannah, Ga, for help with severe pain control. I was written valid prescriptions for: Roxicodone 30 mg; Dilaudid 8 mg; Xanax 2 mg; Fentanyl 100mcg/hr transdermal patch; Soma 350 mg; Neurontin 800 mg. ALL, YES ALL local pharmacies, will NOT honor ANY of these prescriptions. I was a previous patient of David M. Nelson, M.D. here in Sava...

What Does Roxy 10mg Look Like
37 Replies RSS
what does a 10mg roxy look like? ## There is no Roxicodone, which would be the regular release formulation of Oxycodone, in a 10mg tablet. Roxicodone is only available in 5, 15 or 30mg tablets. I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons, but I can give you some descriptions and markings. There is a 10mg Oxycontin tablet, that should have the marking of OP on one side and 10 on the other, the other tablets had OC on on side and 10 on the other and they are both white. As to Roxicodone markings, the 5mg is a round, white tablet and one side it has 54 over 582, the 30mg is round, blue and one one side has 54 over 199 and the 15mg is green, round and has 54 over 710 on one side. There are also many generics on the market, so I couldn't possibly list all of the ...

is roxicodone the same thing as oxycontin
3 Replies RSS
I have been prscribed roxidone 5mg after surgery. is it the same as oxycontin ## Hello, Jane! How are you? They both contain Oxycodone, but the Roxicodone is a regular release formulation, while Oxycontin is time released. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## No it's not the same as Oxycontin. It's Roxinol. ## I have multiple sclerosis fibromyalgia osteoporosis and sciatica arthritis and two discs on my back I do take Vicodin 7.2 / 375 but my doctor said if I call in and it's only one a day that she would have to refer me to the pain clinic and the pain clinic only want to give you oxycodone which cause...

Mallinckrodt Roxicodone Availability
2 Replies RSS
Why does it seem that the availability of Mallinckrodt's Roxicodone is like the flip of a coin? It's like a guessing game if they decide to make it and get orders out. Are they even still making 30 mg Roxicodone? ## At any given pharmacy, the generic they carry really depends on the price set forth, when they need to restock their supply. Pharmacies generally use a vendor, then order in whatever generic the vendor lists as offering the cheapest price, at that time. Thus, the one you receive may change from prescription fill to prescription fill. They do this to help keep prices down for those that do not have prescription coverage. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipat...

HELP GETTING YOUR CHILD OFF ROXYCOTIN
2 Replies RSS
how do you get your child off of roxy's.....without withdrawals ## I'll be honest, I had no idea children were allowed to be prescribed such a horrible drug? Some precautionary guidelines I just found state the following: "Giving Roxicodone Oral to a child under 12: Relative Contraindication: MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO EFFECTS AND ADVERSE CNS EFFECTS, RESPIRATORY DEPRESSION." Referenced from: As far as withdrawal effects go, usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. In any case though, I think if you were to b...

Roxicodone (oxycodone hydrochloride) Tablets USP, CII 30 mg, generic from India
12 Replies RSS
I recently received some roxycodone's 30mg from India and they don't look anything like original blue 30mg roxies.. They look like maybe watson 10/500 hydro/apap or maybe 7.5 hydro/apap with lots of filler.. What was strange is the sealed packaging actually says roxycodone and describes the little blue pill with the 54 199 imprint used to identify the roxy's. These don't have any imprint on them. I'm sure they're not real or maybe some other sort of pill, but I'm very curious to see what the picture database pulls them up as (if anything as they're generic yellow looking capsules, but I also have the 10-pack packaging that claims there roxy's they were sealed in for reference as well. ## India has different marking rules than the FDA here in the US. Roxicodone generic 30mg bright blue with V mark
27 Replies RSS
Yes, can anyone tell me why the generic Roxicodone 30mg with the V mark is not as strong as the R-215 or the M-30 brands of the same medicine. It does nothing for my pain! ## While generics do contain the same active ingredient or an ingredient that works the same as the name brands, they are allowed to have some differences. The FDA considers these differences to be acceptable therapeutic windows. However, they can differ by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient. This means that not all generics will have as accurate of a dosage as the name brands, nor will they all necessarily have the same dosage as the generic made by a different company. You can try requesting that your pharmacy fill your prescription with the tablets from a different manufacturer, or call around an...

How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. Unfortunately, there so no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Pharmacy To Fill A Prescription For Roxicodone
46 Replies RSS
unable to find a pharmacy that will fill my perscription for roxicodone 30mg ## Where are you located? Without at least a general idea of your location, it is going to be difficult for anyone to help you, because we have people that use this site from all over the world. If you're in Florida and someone knows which pharmacy has them in stock in Bangladesh, I doubt it will be very helpful. One tip I can give you is to actually go in to the pharmacies, with the prescription in hand and ask if they can fill it for you. If you are just calling them, they have no way of knowing whether or not you are a legitimate customer and due to the risk of theft, they will not usually give you an accurate answer over the phone. ## I hve prescriptions for 30milli roxy I'm frm Brooklyn ny where ca...

The ***** I am insufflated (9) 30 MG Roxicodone on Thursday of last week and then took 4 more of the same on Friday at 10am .... I did not take any more from that point on and just took a urine test tonight (monday) at 6pm. Thst 84 hours from Friday AM and 94 hours from the last one on Thursday PM. Starting Sunday night up until my test on Monday I drank several gallons of water and must have pissed over 40 times. I took 4 different 10 panel drug tests from Walgreens and CVS. I took 3 different manufacturers 10 panel test all stating 99% accurate. I passed 3 out of 4 tests and the one I did not pass seemed to have had some type of defect so I dont think it was accurate. I then peed in the cup at my out patient program and the sample was almost fully clear and though they made a remark t...

Dark blue roxi 15 mg pill with time release ? These real? ## I really can't tell you anything from just the color. Are there any markings on the tablet? How to get prescribed roxy 30
4 Replies RSS
What symptoms do I need to be prescribed roxycotin ## How can I be prescribed roxy. I have ovarian cyst and it hurts badly ## Pain is the number one reason narcotic analgesics like Roxicodone or OxyContin are prescribed. If your doctor feels that you require pain management at this level, then I don't see why he/she wouldn't prescribe it or at least something similar. In many cases an MRI, scans, x-rays, etc., are general forms of proof to vouch for your medical needs. So If you have any medical documents of that nature, I would recommend bringing them with you to your appointment for further evaluation and a conclusive decision will then be made as to what approach should be taken from there. I hope this helps! ## NO ONE will prescribe Roxy for ovarian cysts. Sorry but that pai...

I just took a pill suppose to be 30mg cor 226 on it and my throat, tongue and inside my mouth went numb. Is it real or fake? Lot of fake stuff out there. It was blue with little speckles in it ## Hello, Fin1200! How are you? Yes, these are manufactured by Corepharma and they do list them as containing 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, they aren't intended to be held in your mouth. They are supposed to be swallowed immediately, with a full 8 ounce glass of water. Many medications will make your mouth and throat feel funny, if you don't swallow them immediat...

56 Replies RSS
just started getting them and not sure how they will make me feel. they"re blue and have 48/12 on one side an a v on tha other side. ## That's actually not a 5mg Oxycodone tablet, that's a 30mg Oxycodone tablet and it's actually listed as being an immediate release formulation, so it would be a generic for OxyIR. And if you were used to taking the 5mg, then this is quite a jump in dosage and you need to proceed with caution. You may experience more side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. If it is too high of a dosage, you may also start to show the signs of CNS depression, which could include extremed drowsiness and sedation, shallow breathing and lowered heart rate and blood pressure. What lead you to believe these were only 5mg tablets? ## ...

is roxicodone stronger than percocet
1 Reply RSS
I have been prescribed 30 mg roxicodone. Changed from Percocet. Seems to be working today. (First day) do they last all day. My pain was gone in 30 minutes. Wondering about tolerance. Took 10 mg Percocet 4 × day for a year. I have fluid on my brain and back problems ## How many times a day has your doctor instructed you to take it? The base narcotic in both are the same, it's Oxycodone, so equivalency is going to depend on how often you are taking it. Usually, according to NIH reports, Roxicodone is taken 3 to 4 times a day. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

small round peach colored pill with m344

I received these from the pharmacy (the Medicine Shoppe) and was informed that these were in fact the new Roxicodone 30 mg pills. ## This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmacueticals and they list it as containing 8mgs of Ondansetron, which is most commonly used to treat or prevent nausea, and vomiting. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, and headache. Is it possible that they misread the prescription?
