Round Green Pill One Side C D N Other 80

i would be very greatly appreciative to get an honest answer to the question if the new oxy 80 C D N are a new generic on the market in the U.S. I have remained on the oxy ops due to the fact that i have to take them for my chronic pain but i do not like the side effects at all but im stuck with them since they are my only option PLEASE REPLY ONLY TRUTHFUL AND FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGABLE COMMENTS

The Oxycontin (controlled release) marked 80mg on one side and CDN on the other side are a "Canadian name-brand".

Below is a description of the pill:
"Each round, unscored, green, biconvex, controlled release tablet, imprinted with CDN on one side and the mg strength on the other, contains oxycodone HCl 80 mg."

Inactive Ingredients: lactose, magnesium stearate, polymethyl acrylate, povidone, stearyl alcohol, talc and triacetin; film coating: Opadry Green: FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, iron oxide, polyethylene glycol and titanium dioxide.

This is unfortunately all the information I could gather on these specific pills, but I hope it helps confirm things for you! If anyone else has additional info to add to this, then please do so.

Switch to 40mg opana they are just like the original 80mg oxycontin. I tried a 30mg opana and it was just like a 80 oc. Purdue took out the ingredient that made them work. But the opana must have it cause they seem stronger

BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS USING ANY PILL STAMPED “CDN 80”. In 2012, OxyContin 80mg was pulled off the market and replaced with a temper resistant OxyNEO, doing away with the CDN 80s. The only problem is counterfeiters, mainly from China, and other areas, began producing these pills with the CDN 80 stamp, which were either laced with or made up of fentanyl, a drug 100 times more powerful and potent than Morphine. Moral of the story is: If you find a pill that is stamped “CDN 80”, it is in your best interest to leave it alone (don’t even pick it up, as the fentanyl can absorb through your skin, and depending on your tolerance levels to opiates, could leave you hospitalized or dead). Here’s a great article with much more information about the differences between the two opiates, and how Fentanyl has grown so much in popularity with counterfeit companies. It is definitely worth the time to read the article!!!
