Ridding Of Lipitor Got Rid Of Alzheimer's Symptoms

My mother was on Lipitor for over 10 years, since 6 years ago she developed Alzheimer's symptoms, she short term and med term memory is gone, kept asking the same question. She has a lot of confusion and is not confident anymore.

I saw the news about Lipitor 3 weeks ago, and test it by stopping her Lipitor med. 2 weeks later, she is 85% recovered! She is like a different person now, asking me detail questions about more complex subjects, and actually wanting to learn to use the remote control! I am glad to have her back in my life, she is back from Hell.

btw she was only taking 10mg of Lipitor. It was taken as precaution only, she exercise regularly and eats very lean.

Hello, St Leung! How is your mother doing?

Due to the side effects that such a medication can cause, I just don't agree with it being given as a precaution. I think it should only be given, if actually necessary.

Is she on any other medications? What medical conditions is she being treat for?

Thanks for asking...she is doing much better, mind sharper, more interest in new things, and into more detail now.

She had a leaky heart valve, so for years they thought that something was blocking there....e.g. from cholesterol...she is also taking a med for Alzheimer's condition (I think most of the problem is gone), with aspirin.
