Restyl And Alcohol

can alcoholics be given restyl during sober periods and what could be the effects if such a person is having a higher BP reading?

Restyl contains the active ingredient Alprazolam and most doctors will not give it to someone with an alcohol problem, due to the risks to the liver.

It is a Benzodiazepine and as to the blood pressure, it can actually help lower that slightly, since it causes depression of the central nervous system.
