I Took Reglan many many years, i was having problems with jaw legs teeth chattering etc didnt know why..Well now i know you are not suppose to take it over three weeks i would say at a time...well try 20 years...I WOULD not ever give this to a child or take when i was pregnant...ITS BEEN BLACKBOXED in 2009 by the FDA. Now i have bad TD and at times i cant use my hands plus i truly believe its the cause of alot of my stomach locking up on me. Just my opinion ## Yes, there is warning about taking Reglan longer than 12 weeks (3 months), due to the risk of it possibly causing an irreversible movement disorder. As to stomach issues, it really depends on what you had, before you started taking it, there is a warning that you shouldn't take it, if you have a stomach blockage, bleeding, or ...

After a year of severe nausea, bloating and GI discomfort, I was diagnosed with Gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying.) My GE wanted to put me on Metaclopromide (Reglan), but I deferred because of the warnings of tardive dyskinesia and other nervous system problems. I did my research and found that Itopride was just as effective for motility without the nervous system or heart-rhythm problems found in Reglan and Domperidone, and I got him to prescribe it after signing a form acknowledging it was not approved in the USA by the FDA. I procured it from Asia through a Canadian pharmacy. I want to take it consistently for at least 3-4 weeks to see if it stimulates my gastric motility, but I'm experiencing some psychotropic side-effects that are hard to tolerate. Specifically, when it ...

I have recently been diagnosed with a severe case of Tardive Diskinesia...this is a completely diabilitating condition that overtakes your life and has no known cure at this time...I'm 62y/o, married with 2 older children...the effects of this horrid disease have been mentally, physically and emotionally devestating...the sad fact is that this was absolutely preventable...the cause was the failure of drug companies to notify the physicans of the risks that went along with the usage...these drug include: Reglan, Metraclopine, Seroque, Ambilify and other anti-depressants...this disease has been dormant in my system for a very long time as I have been taking anti-depressants for 15-20 years...the message that I'm trying to convey is to research the medications that you are using an...

I received a refill for my Reglan, and I am in the process of filling med set. The pills they sent me are called Metoclopram 10mg and are both white and round, but 1 of the pills has( BL on one side and the number 92 on the other side. These are the small ones appx. 1/8 inch diameter. The other pills mixed with them are at least 1/4 inch in diameter white, round, and on one side say BL and on the other side have the number 93. My actual prescription is for Reglan 10 mg. My question is are both sizes of the pills in my bottle equal to 10 mg of Reglan in Generic? Bottle says METOCLOPRAM 10MG, gENERIC FOR REGLAN NDC:00093-2203-01 MFG. TEVA. The pharmacy gave me the runaround so I wanted to ask some with the knowledge of pills. Thank You very much. ## The tablets with the BL 93 marking cont...

Got switched from brand Reglan to Generic Metroclopram now it won't work. What can I do? ## There really is no difference between the brand and generic medications, other than the inactive ingredients and fillers that can determine how efficiently your body absorbs the drug. Apparently your body doesn't agree with the fillers in the generic version. I would suggest contacting your doctor who prescribed it; and improvise how the generic isn't working for you as well as the brand name; and that it could be due to the differences in inactive ingredients. Just being honest and open with your doctor should be enough to request a change. In the meantime however, depending on the reasons for your use of Metoclopramide; I think supplementing with powerful herbs such as Basil and Ore...

a friend told me it would help my milk come more than it is ## I'm taking this right now and it is 20mg per day to help my breastfeeding and it is working very well and i also don't have any side affects that i notice from taking it. ## YIPES!! Some of the Side Effects of Reglan can be LIFELONG facial tics, twiches, uncontrolled mouth movements and other very problematic socially embarrassing body movements. Even if it does help your milk come in better, taking reglan for this purpose would NOT be worth the risk. And you could expose your baby to this drug with unknown effects. Reglan DOES have a black box warning for these devastating Side Effects called Tardive Dyskinesia. Don't risk these horrible and lifelong side effects. ## THank you Kerri for that info. I was consider...
