Regestrone 5 Mg

Iam facing irregular period , now last month i missed then in this month its going on from last 9 days i am feeling very weak , my age is 45, i has a history of hypothyroid, and high bp.which is in control.Now my doctor has suggested regestrone 5mg for 20 days. I whant to ask is this a safe drug?

I took regestrone tablet 1-1-1 for 2days since my period was delayed and took pregnancy test after 40days and found that it is positive. Iam afraid whether this tablet affect my baby's growth. Can anyone pls explain me whether i can continue my pregancy and is it safe?

I am 37 years old...Since May 2013 my periods are irregular..ie delayed by 8 days per month. But now after 22nd jul 2013 there is no period. ie my LMP is 22nd jul 2013. I was taking RABIUM-DSR for last 6 months. Now my Doctor has advised me to take Regestrone 5 mg for 7 days/twice daily. Can anybody advice me on the same.
