Really Old Morphine Vial Question

Recently after losing a family member (to the same painful disease me and my brother have) I found this package of really old vials of Morphine Sulfate, 10mg in a closet. I don't know when they expired as they have no date. But they look really old and are slightly yellowish. They were made by Wyeth to be injected using a device called a Tubex. The plastic wrapped package has 4 sealed glass vials with the needles and rubber stopper attached. My question is if really old morphine is dangerous or painful to use? I know it probably won't do anything, but I figured on a bad day why not try. I was going to try one vial IM to be safe.
